They worked great as a team. I guess there was some confusion about the bill. I had assumed that because the company had my card numbers it would had been automatically billed. I received a call from a staff member about payment. He was kind enough to tell me about a percentage increase when using a credit card and explained how I was able to pay the bill using a different method. They sent me a link and payment was made in the same hour. I just wish I was told about this before, It would had saved a lot of confusion. Next time I will just pay the service guys cash and save an future confusion.

We contracted Lafferty to enclose the entry area of our townhome with a custom screen door. The…read morefinished product initially looked great. Unfortunately, when we began having problems with the door not closing properly and our experience with Lafferty's customer service was extremely disappointing. Because we were outside the warranty period, we were required to pay a $75 service fee just to schedule an appointment. After several follow-up calls and waiting a couple of weeks, a technician finally came out. He installed a new plunger and left. Upon returning home we discovered the door was actually worse than it had been before the service visit. It now drags on our newly installed pavers and only closes about halfway. We have followed up with Lafferty multiple times and have provided photos and video clearly showing the problem. Despite this, more than a month later, they have still refused to send someone back to inspect the issue or correct the workmanship. Our experience has been very disappointing. While the initial installation looked good, the lack of follow-up and customer service has been unacceptable. When you hire a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and make a reasonable effort to resolve problems when they arise. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not use Lafferty again. We have also shared our experience with others in our development so they can make an informed decision before hiring them.

The owner, Dave, offered to paint the concrete and ultimately took the cost of materials off the total when we opted to do an epoxy floor with another company. When there was a drainage problem, they came right back out and added a second downspout and water diverter on the roof. With each interaction, everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. We appreciated their willingness to discuss concerns and address in a timely manner. We love our new room with the "no see it" screen! I definitely recommend them if you're looking to hire a hometown company to construct your screen room!

The technicians showed up late if at all and barely working longer than 3 hours, rushed through the job without properly securing anything, and left in a hurry. Literally minutes after they drove away, the entire hood started sagging and the ductwork came crashing down, dangling like a sad snake from the wall. The image speaks for itself--shoddy brackets, exposed foil tape failing everywhere, and holes in the drywall that look like they were punched by amateurs. Now my kitchen is a mess, with potential fire hazards from the poor venting, and I have to pay someone else to fix their incompetence. Avoid this company at all costs; they're unprofessional, careless, and clearly don't care about quality or safety. Zero stars if I could!

Always a smile & a wave but they worked steadily (couldn't tell if they ever went on break or took lunch). This impressed me--the supervisor saw the city trash truck coming & pulled our trash container out where the truck could get at it easily. They also made sure that the mailbox was not blocked. I have never seen companies do this before. I also haven't seen a company where you didn't give a down payment & you paid at the end. They pay for the wind mitigation as well. The work took 2 days. One thing--it was 6 months from the paperwork to beginning because customer waiting list (they informed us about this but this was to be expected). The good news is that the customer is locked in at the price at that time (no unexpected "surprises" at the end. Hope this review helps anybody & that they get the same results like I did.
