On January 17, 2024, I called AmeriClean at 8:06 AM regarding frozen and burst pipes in the crawl space accessed in the garage and some water that had leaked down into the storage area under the stairs in the basement. They arrived around 11:00 or so. They emptied out and set up fans in storage area under basement stairs, set up fans by basement stairs, and sucked out water in the crawl space accessed through the garage where the pipes froze, burst, and flooded. Per my request, AmeriClean subcontracted a plumber to make the repairs to the burst pipes. After the plumber arrived, AmeriClean left to work on another job. After several hours, the plumber let himself into my house via the door to the kitchen without permission instead of going to the front door like the note on the door stated. Needless to say, that really freaked me out! He told me that due to the number of breaks in the pipes in the crawl space the whole area would have to replumbed and he needed to cut holes in the walls in the laundry room to see if there were any other leaks. I was not comfortable with him cutting holes in the wall to 'see if there were leaks' without prior approval from the insurance company. He cleaned up his gear and left. AmeriClean returned awhile later with a heater fan to dry out the crawl space. The guy told me it had to be plugged in upstairs, rather than in one of the many outlets downstairs which I thought was weird. I finally plugged it in, in the laundry room which blew the circuit breaker right away. I reset it and it didn't blow the circuit breaker again. The next day AmeriClean came back out to check on things and all was going well. I made the mistake of stating I was going to a hotel so I could take a shower. The guy stated they would need full access to the garage and house while I was gone in case something happened. I was not comfortable doing that, stating if there was a problem they would call me, and I'd come back. Mind you, the hotels are within 5-10 minutes from my house. He refused and rudely stated if I didn't agree and give him the remote to the garage door and the keys to me house, then they would pull out of the job. I said fine, we are done, then. The guy, Jim, signed the final paperwork. AmeriClean never submitted their invoices to my insurance company though they were provided with the insurance company information as soon as I received it. I am still waiting for the detailed invoices so I can submit them to my insurance company. Once I receive them, I'll pay AmeriClean. read more

I have lived in my of less than 800 square feet, apartment for nearly 4 years. After the first winter I decided to get the carpet cleaned. I asked my landlord who they used to clean the carpet, I figured if my landlord used them, I could not go wrong.. I was not pleased. Each time I had the carpets cleaned, Well, I watched my carpet get dingy and stains that were not there before would show up as the carpet dried. I was assured it was because the carpet was old needed replacement along with the padding.$100.00 every six months to have the traffic areas cleaned. It would take days for the carpet to dry and the smell was so bad I would get headaches.. I would wake up the next day to see black trailes through out my apartment. I was embarrassed to have company. I cringed each time my grandson would crawl across the floor. While expressing my concerns to my son he recommended I call AmeriClean. For $90. 00 I had the traffic area cleaned. It smelled nice but I was skeptical to say the least. I watched see my carpets return to the original shade off off white (3 tan?) I waited for the headaches to start, and like always I left the apartment for 5 hours to leaving my fans on high to allow the carpet to dry. Expecting to return to wet carpet I was pleased to feel it was barley damp. The odor was pleasent and fresh and I still did not have a headache.. Still skeptical I went to bed, When I got up today I expected to see that black trail on the carpet. As it always came back previously and was always darker each time.. This morning however it was not the case the colors of the carpet are consistent through out . off white or light tan. The nasty burlap and wet wool smell is also absent. I never got the headache . best of all the carpets are dry. I am thus far very pleased with the work. I can now allow people to enter my apartment...After they remove their shoes of course..The best part, I happily let my grandson crawl on the carpet. This company sent a guy out to do a quote (every other company was able to do it over the phone), and when he arrived he took FOREVER!! Seriously it was like 45 min or better of just watching him walk around the house. He first quoted me $380 something, which was significantly more expensive than any other quote I had gotten. He proceeded to tell me that it's because of the machine they use that spins in circles that will get everything from the pad up as well. I tell him yeah sorry don't wanna pay that much for a temporary fix as I plan on replacing the carpet soon anyways. He convinces me it's worth it by showing me videos on his cell phone . Ok so I book the appointment. After he left I looked up reviews online and everything I seen was horrible. this got me thinking that maybe I should do further research. I started calling carpet cleaners out of the Yellow Pages and coincidently came across a guy's business page for carpet cleaning who had done car details for us in the past. This guys work was always excellent so I called him to get further advice. I told him I needed to get my carpets cleaned and that AmeriClean guaranteed me they were the best because of this special machine. He informed me that several carpet cleaning companies have that machine and it's not something I should be paying extra for. I booked an appointment with him instead.
