So I found myself completely broke after having a fraud situation on my bank account. While I was waiting for disputes (it can take up to 90 days) I needed some I literally had $0. I bring in my Mavado watch which is only worn once was less than 5 months old and cost me $950 I didn't want to do alone because the money was pitiful so I said OK I'll sell it. They told me that they only get about $200-$225 for a Movado watch now the customer service was great, except for the manager who did the actual deal with me he would not give me more than $125 for a $1000 Movado watch 2022 edition and it was flawless because "I only get about 200 to 225 for these" so my situation changed rather quickly the bank refunded all my money I decided know when the 30 days is up I'll go by my watch back 30 day is it guess what they're asking for the watch? Oh you know $400 and already had people looking at it, which I wasn't able to buy it because they sold it so you mean to tell me you need to make almost 3 times what you paid for something to screw somebody that was down on his luck at the moment out of something, he wanted his whole life to me that was pretty nasty and pretty low and he knows anybody that's reading this news I should've gotten more than 125 for it but what was I supposed to do? We have always been impressed with this pawnshop in the past, however today the service was appalling. In fact it was nonexistent. We were told we would get some help and a request was made for people to assist us, 20 minutes later nobody had helped us. I told two members of staff that we were leaving because we hadn't been served and the second one said "that's fine sweetie" and let us leave. They were start standing behind the counter talking doing nothing so they lost a sale of a beautiful ring, they lost a customer we will not be back. We made a phone call and spoke to the manager who offered us a 10% discount and seemed to really not to care at all, a very very disappointing experience. My first visit will be my last visit. Stopped in to snoop around while my truck was being serviced next door at the Ford dealer. I was greeted right away by a friendly staff member, she was persistent on trying to help me. I was grateful for her help when asking about a welding unit on the floor. I asked if it worked and she said, "Yes do you want to plug it in?" I replied with a smile and said no that's okay. I decided to purchase it as well as the extended warranty for 90 days. After I returned home I plugged the unit into power and saw that the fan worked as well as the spool feeder but the machine could not arc. With a screwdriver I opened up the service door for the equipment and saw that the parts inside were extremely rusted. I figured no worries, I'll just return this and let them know what's up with it, after all I had only purchased it 2 hours ago. After returning to the store and waiting for an unusual amount of time, the manager who watched me purchase this item a couple hours earlier acted irritated to handle my return. I explained what the problem was so they could be aware that the item should probably only be sold for parts. He responded as if I was undermining his intelligence and proceeded to count out cash for my return. The total cost of my purchase was a little over $140 ... I was refunded a little over $125. The warranty was apparently not refundable. I asked if I had not purchased the warranty would I have received any money back, his response was NO store credit only. So, what did I learn? After the expense of about $14 for a warranty I don't need, the unplanned drive of 20 minutes both ways for the return of my item, and the aggravation of a condescending salesman, I have learned that if you want to shop at this pawn shop be prepared to give them the better end of the deal. They will take your money even if you don't take their products. My gut says they will put this machine right back on the floor and try to screw someone else into a sale pretending it works just fine. read more

I absolutely LOVE this pawn shop. Everyone there is so sweet when helping you, they are not pushy or rude or up your A$$. They truly try their best to get you the money you need when pawning something or try to work out a great price when buying something. The layaway process is easy and they call to remind you of your payments. Most pawnshops I have been to do not call you. I even worked at a local pawnshop, that I don't even go to anymore because of how well this place treats me. I would recommend this pawn shop to everyone. They are friendly, sweet, and funny. Upgrading to 5 stars because they honored their 3 day return policy with no hassle and no fuss. They normally don't take returns but after questioning the sales staff about how they test equipment when it comes in, they gave me a 3 day return policy which they hand wrote on the receipt when I purchased it. It turned out to have a flaw so I did take them up on their offer of a return and it was a painless transaction. They honored their promise and did so without drama. I'd recommend them over any other pawn shop in the area. read more

Yes I give America's Super Pawn 5 stars because that is all I can give.First of all, I have worked in a Pawn shop in my younger years , secondly I have spent a better part of 33 years in some type of Customer Service . Retail, Hotel, automotive and healthcare. I live in Clearwater Florida , thats about 55 miles from Americas Super Pawn.I visit my son who lives close to ASP every Thursday for t he last 7 years. About 4 years ago I stumbled on ASP while driving on U.S 41also know as 14th street. I was impressed by how clean and organized the store was . Hardly a typical Pawn shop . I cant remember my first purchase ,but since I stated going to ASP I have spent several thousands there . They have a great selection of electronics , tools , Jewelry , bikes , musical instruments and firearms. The Staff at all 3 stores are amazing . I visit the 14th st store the most , but have bought from all stores. Greg the owner is really nice person. Joe the manager at 14th street is a CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. Stef at the 15th street store has been amazaing too. The staff in all the stores are helpful ,kind and courteous. I look forward to VISTING EVERY THUSRDAY , OUR RITUAL . . ASP Made my visits with my son just that much better , its like visting family.I cant find a bad thing to say about this great group of people . I look forward to sseing them on June 4th . Horrible, I been buying stuff from the one in Sarasota for a while now . I moved to Bradenton and needed a laptop to work from home , well when I checked out they charged my card 25 dollars by mistake instead of 125 , I realized this on my way home so I dropped my family off and then went back to pay the 100 dollars because I didnt want the kid to get in trouble . Well that was 3 weeks ago, and now I am not able to work from home , I have to go into the office so I went back to see if they can take it back or give me store credit and they didn't want to do anything for me . I explained about the fact that I could have just got it for 25 dollars and the manager remembered the situation . After she discussed it with people in the back she came back and said she can't do anything for me . So I said wow so that's it , I could have just kept 100 dollars now you don't want to do anything for me . I grabbed be lap top and a girl that works there with curly hair said " karma is a bitch " which makes no sense because if I went back that day it's because I wanted to keep a good relationship with this place . It's whatever, I ll keep it but it just shows how they operate and how unprofessional they are . I will tell everyone not to ever go to this place . read more
