Stay here if you enjoy blood stained sheets and towels, dirty linen, moldy bathrooms with wall paint chipped off in the bathrooms, rusty drains that have a metal ring loose in the tub. Seriously though, this place looks nice from the pictures and all but first night I found a blood stain the size of a golf ball in my bed. There is some kind of stain on the blanket that might be blood that is over the sheets. I told them about the bed and the maid only replaced the sheets. There are stains on the chairs as well. In the bathroom, there is mold growing on the wall and there might be also stains from something on the wall. Its hard to distinguish between the two. The bathtub has a ring that is rusty and loose, seems sharp and dangerous, I've been avoiding it so far. The window in the bathroom also has mold spores growing all over it and is cracked. On to the linen, I got back early from the job and house keeping stopped by, I requested clean towels and gave them the dirty ones back. The clean ones had, are you ready for this shocker... more stains of some kind on them and some were dirty with black stains. My coworkers have similar rooms and issues as well, so this isn't a fluke. In fact, he got his pillow case replaced from the maids dropping by while we were out to work and when he came back, he found a blood stain on one of his pillow cases. Going cheap on the linen seems to be common practice here. There was also guests that seemed to be smoking a ton of pot next to our room when we got back at night as well as in the morning, then we witnessed a drug handoff to another person right in front of our room. The WiFi barely works as well. You won't be streaming movies here at night in 480P. I will say the amenities in the room are decent, nice TV, nice furniture and there seem to be no bed bugs luckily. I'm up here for work for about a week or so, otherwise I would have changed hotels after the first night. I do not really have a choice in the matter. So if you are booking your employees somewhere, I suggest you try elsewhere. read more

First off, let me begin by saying if your a "Type A, OCD, self proclaimed clean freak, who needs a room with a view, or strictly citified, and brand names like Evian or Voss are part of your vocabulary" kind of traveler, then PLEASE don't try and save money and then proceed to complain about a little dust on the TV's plug in or a tiny paint or worn bathroom fixtures, and PLEASE go someplace else! (And kindly ignore the longest run-on sentence I've ever written in my life!) This is a nice looking, clean hotel owned and managed by people who are doing, from what I experienced, a great job. We were greeted immediately by the nicest lady who told me her credit card machine was down and did we have cash. When I answered "No, we didn't and we would have to go find an ATM machine." She quickly replied "Just take the key to your room and you can pay me when you can, there's no need to go right now. You can pay in the morning." She also gave us a room with 2 beds for the price of a one bed room, and also took off the 15% as we have a Value Club Card, without any questions! Before we opened the door to our room, we notice a hibachi that you can check out for personal use (mini BBQ). It sits outside, clean and ready to go. I can promise you won't see that amenity down in the valley! Or if ever! If we weren't so tired, it would've been perfect for our rainbow trout we caught this afternoon! Once we opened our room first thing I noticed was the clerk gave us a bigger room for price of the smallest, it was very clean (only dust I saw was on the actual electric plug in of the big flat screen TV, and just a dusting at that, and as I bent down to get my sock I could see dust along the crevice where the carpet meets the base of the beds and nightstand where it touches the carpet. I could not smell dust, however I could smell the clean sheets/linen or maybe carpet deodorizer, or that room had just had all surfaces cleaned. It wasn't overpowering, and by the time we finished unloading, it had faded. My husband has bad allergies and he says he didn't smell anything different from our last hotel (another ANVI in another town). Microwave looks new, coffee pot w/ packs of coffee and condiments for it, fridge, TV, all are clean and in working order. Styrofoam cups for coffee present, as well as individually wrapped plastic drinking cups. I also like the fact they try to cut down on plastics in our landfills by using one big dispenser for soap, shampoo & conditioner and not all those mini bottles! Plus for girls like me, those little bottles never have enough conditioner! Lol. Free breakfast in the am, they say it's "continental" which usually means just Coffee, juice and an assortment of breakfast pastries or bagel type offerings. But they have a "make your own waffles" station, warm syrup, several kinds of cold cereal and a better assortment than I'd have if I were at home! The little store in the parking lot next to our motel has closed up, so stop and get what you might need before you check in. Then if you're not rushing out the door before sunrise to fill a tag, you could possibly enjoy your own bkfst in bed or at the cute dining table for two in a room like ours. I gave this place 4 stars for customer service (she alone deserves 5 stars!) which can cover a multitude of sins (in my book of reviews at least). Also, newer appliances, clean linens, towels, comfy pillows, quiet night's sleep, low price, convenience and ease of use of their club card @ the check in process (see, again there's that customer service!). But sadly, I did have to subtract one star for some missing caulking around tub/shower/sink (easy fix), the need to use a crevice tool when cleaning rooms (easy fix & training), and the picture above my head had cracked glass. Mind you, I didn't feel unsafe, and crack was taped with clear packing tape, and I'm sure this too can be an easy fix. All these things are just cosmetics, but once completed, this will be a 5 star place again soon. Regardless, I would stay here, in this same room, as is, again and again. Hair anyone? Ever clean the carpet? I don't mind places with older fixtures as long as they are clean. And this place had two complimentary hairs left on the shower wall that stayed there during the two days that we were there. So not only did they not clean the bathroom well before we checked in. They didn't clean it while were there. And the carpet in the room felt dirty so we kept sandals next to the bed so we could slip them on just to walk around the room. Also the rooms next to the washing room will actually shake when the washing machine spin cycle kicks in. Unfortunately that was about 5:00 in the morning. Overall I think it was overpriced for the cleanliness and value. It was not a restful stay. read more

The main reason we booked this inn was due to shortage of rooms available. There were 2 weddings and 2 funerals that weekend. I would not reccommend this Inn. We ordered a 2 night stay to go up and snowboard, the first room we checked into was full of ants... when we went to ask the front desk or at least a very slight discount, he got upset and said best he could do was offer us a different room. We had already got all of our stuff moved into the first room, all we wanted was a very slight discount. For $70 a night I shouldn't have to worry about ants. Also the front desk agent also did not wear a mask the entire time. Me and my friend both wore masks and were respectful but he did not wear one and barely helped us. read more

I was just passing through town and needed a place to stay for the night so I checked out a few of the hotel/motels in the area. It came down to ABVI and the Reeds Motor Lodge. Although the ambiance of the Reeds Motor Lodge sounded interesting, the amenities the ABVI offered for the price won me over. The ABVI had nice, clean rooms with flat screen TVs, cable, a microwave, mini fridge, iron, in-room coffee maker, free wi-fi and laundry facilities. It's also located right next to a mini mart so I could grab some snacks and other necessities by just running next door. To top it all off, they also offer a continental breakfast so I don't have to worry about finding a place to eat in the morning. Wonderful! I highly recommend this place. read more

Great stay, was very impressed with the room. Called in saying I would be checking in after midnight, really friendly desk clerk, was assigned room #240. Two full size beds in a big room, flat panel tv with Direct TV, tiled shower/bath, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer, coffee maker with coffee, will come back to this place. Don't go through a travel website to book this place, it's more expensive than just calling.We were in town to go to Sunrise Ski Resort and Springerville is the closest place to stay (about 30 minutes away). Town has nothing to offer, but the room we got at America's Best was nice for the money we paid. Nice TV with tons of channels, bed and linens looked nice, and the fridge was a bonus. The proprietors were very friendly and knew we were bored outside of skiing so they gave us a travel guide that typically costs $3. The mini mart is just across the parking lot, so that was convenient. Breakfast consisted of waffles, hard boiled eggs, danishes, juice and was better than I have had at more expensive hotels. The town is a total bust, but I'm not going to knock the hotel for that...it was a good experience. read more

To begin with how I ended up staying at America's Best Value Inn (ABVI) in Springerville; my other hotel disregarded our lengthy conversation concerning how long I'd like to stay with my two coworkers. Somehow, they chose to hear "two days" rather than "up to three weeks" when I made my reservation. Panicked and flustered, I was in a rush to find a hotel in Springerville before the masses got theirs for two mill shutdowns in the area. I am so glad I decided to go with ABVI. Not only were they accommodating for my request for a three-bed room (hard to find in most places,) but their amenities are superior in several ways. They share a parking lot with a minute-mart so I can stay stocked with Rockstars and pork rinds, offer plenty of rooms with fridges and microwaves (necessary for weekly stays,) guest laundry facility, cereal and waffle station for breakfast, and they change linens every other day. This is not to mention the friendliness of the Bhaktas (the proprietors,) whose eagerness to please are unrivaled. They offered up their personal lap top for me to use in their lobby for over three hours so I could complete a mill safety course last-minute from 8pm-11:30pm, which is an hour I would not feel so accommodating. I cannot sing enough praises for this place. Don't pass it up if you get the chance to enjoy lovely Springerville in the best bargain lodgings you can. read more
