He was s tall guy who spent a great deal of time assisting us at fitting the television stand into my daughter's trunk. It became evident that the only way we could fit the stand in the car, was if I stayed at the dock until my daughter came back to get me! The Olum's employee offered water and other treats, while waiting for my daughter to return to get me! That guy deserves a raise! He was working Sunday morning on August 28!

I want to give a shout out to Metro Mattress, and particularly to Max, the salesman I worked with…read more(and I think that he's the manager?). He worked with me to find a great bed on which I'm sleeping comfortably. But he really came through when I had an issue with some sheets I bought there--even though the problem was not Metro Mattress' fault. What happened was this: I bought a set of sheets, and they were delivered with my bed. But somehow, they'd gotten dirty before I opened them. Max directed me to the company, which mailed a replacement. Somehow, those were dirty too. I'm guessing this was an unfortunate coincidence. But this time, when I contacted the company (BedGear, not Metro Mattress) they made things more difficult, saying that I would have to mail the old sheets back *and cover the cost of shipping myself.* That seemed messed up. And I contacted Max. He went up the chain of command at Metro Mattress, and ultimately told me that they would provide me with a new set of sheets, at no extra cost. He could have easily said that this was an issue between me and BedGear, and shrugged it off. But he took the time to help me out, and I really appreciate it. The new sheets, by the way, were fine.

We were prepared to purchase a brand new tempurpedic and we were super excited to treat ourselves to a premium bed. Then Katie said she could save us a lot of money if we bought a floor model. We were reluctant at first but she assured us that it would be clean, and hardly used at all. The price difference was nearly $4000 so we decided to put our trust in her sales pitch. That was a mistake. The mattress is way softer than the one we wanted. We are going to have to replace it already and its only been a few months. It wasn't even close to what we wanted. Upon closer inspection, my wife found blood stains and what looks like a urine stain on the mattress which leads us to believe its actually a used mattress and not merely a floor model. It has a huge soft spot in it as well, as if someone had slept many nights in the bed. There are no returns on floor models so we're stuck with it and I have to hear about it nearly every morning from my wife who blames me for the entire thing. When the delivery people came, they didn't wipe their feet or wear booties like every other delivery people have. I was scrubbing mud off of my white chair while they were bringing in the other items. They saw me and said nothing. As they were carrying the base of the bed upstairs, they smashed a chunk of the edge of an archway going upstairs. They were bringing it back to the truck and decided to try again. I later found out how they did it. I noticed part of the cloth was hanging down from the base and one of the boards that frame the entire thing, was split into two. There was also mud on my mattress that I had to clean. They were sloppy and reckless and had no regard for the situation. I also had to clean mud off of my walls and other things in my house. I didn't realize the extent of the damage right away so nothing could be done. Customer service is minimal at best. If you are looking for good service in any way, this is not the place to go.
