I'm not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but this visit was something else. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed more interested in policing our every move than letting us browse in peace. It was uncomfortable and intrusive--definitely not the vibe I expect when shopping. To make matters worse, the staff were loudly taking phone calls and then proceeding to mock the callers right in front of customers. Listening to employees complain about accepting returns from other branches and badmouth customers was awkward, unprofessional, and honestly appalling. The cherry on top? What appeared to be the manager stood there, actively engaging in this petty bashing, as if it were some sort of team sport. That kind of leadership--or lack thereof--really set the tone for the entire store. We left without making a single purchase because I refuse to support a business that treats customers, whether in-store or over the phone, with such blatant disrespect. If you want a pleasant shopping experience, do yourself a favor and head to one of their other branches. This one isn't it. read more

Every time I visit this store it's always very well stocked, clean, and organized. The workers here always accommodate customers and pay attention to whatever questions they have. It is very refreshing to experience this kind of customer service especially these days. The costs are very reasonable and the quality is second to none. Great job management! read more

I used to come here all the time back in 2004 to get all my Dickie clothing needs. I just came from here today (11/10/10) and they don't have much selection anymore =( they used to have almost every color in Dickies but now they just have basic colors, black, blue, tan, gray, white. What they do have is a huge selection of worker boots. The employees are a bit weird and they hound you like you're about to steal something. Or maybe they're just really that helpful. read more

Most places give you discounts based on your need to know basis: If you don't ask, they don't offer. They also have a rewards card that accumulates pretty quickly. You get 50 points just for signing up and another 50 by giving your email. Bought some Dickies and Carhartt. I should note that a pair of Carhartt jeans was only $39.99, and not even on sale. This is a very good price. You may be able to find online for a couple bucks cheaper, but not with shipping. They didn't have a lot in my size because I wear a smaller size and the high school kids beat me here. They were really attentive about calling their other location or calling me when they got more stock in. I'll come back though! read more

My brother has split his timberland pros which he bought at American worker four years ago. I called the manager to see if they have veteran discount so l brought my DD214. They had an updated timberland pro 9.5 wide composite tow in stock and not listed in the website. The female even went out of her way to offer to call for a cat boot but we settled for the timberland. read more

Use to buy all my work boots here. Not any more. Wanted a specific pair of boots. Didnt have my size. Tried to push 6 other pairs of garbage boots before telling me their other store had them. Ordered transfer which took a week. Drove to store and the boots weren't there and no one called. Girl was rude especially when I asked why there prices were hiher in the store than online and in their flier. I bought the same boots from Amazon for $50 less and recieved them in 24 hours. They lost a customer because of lack of customer service, high prices and lack of adequate inventory. read more

If you work in the construction business then you already know what prices you are going to pay for boots. Don't go to Walmart or Payless, because of price, your feet will thank you later.
