Installation was excellent! The windows are wonderful. Make sure what the salesman is ordering is what you expect it to be.

Amazing company they just replaced my front door. The pricing was great and so was the services I…read morereceived.

i want it to be known right now that my wife & I love our new windows that were installed. However…read moreafter the windows were installed Mark Davis came by my home and he walked around with my wife to do overall inspection before we paid final balance. That day everything looked good until several days later. My right front garage window frame had turned a yellowish color down the one side. Mark came and looked at it and said it wasn't from his guys that it had to be from the stucco crew that had to redo all my bands around every window. BTW that crew did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them and as I said HomeRite as well. Mark reached out to stucco man, which we will call him "T" He came out and looked and said it's nothing his guys could have done but that he would take care of it. We were told on March 9th see you this week. As of today 4/3 haven't seen or heard back. Due to T having some health issue i decided not to try and contact him. My reason is this. My wife & I along with other family members do not believe it was from the stucco crew. This is what we believe happen. On every window install the guys had to use a special type of glue/caulking around the backside of the frame before installing it in the opening. We think that particular window got way too much adhesive and it oozed out and got on the frame and dried without someone catching this which now due to weather elements we believe it has turned it yellow. So here is my issue of why I did not rate them with 5 stars. We spent a lot of money for our windows and you would have thought someone from HomeRite would have followed up to be sure the window issue had been taken care of. Let me add this as well. Our windows were sitting in their warehouse for several weeks and I had to call to find out what the status was because we were suppose to have had them done before the end of 2024. I was told by there office someone dropped the ball and they were very apologetic. So we were moved on the schedule to January 13th. I guess the ball is still being dropped. Happy and Sad customer at the same time. Now I have to try and find something myself to take whatever this is off. Never at one time were my wife & I told, If it doesn't come off the frame we will get it replaced. Make sure you inspect every window with a fine tooth comb before signing off. Tim & Wendie Watson UPDATE NEXT MORNING As my previous review stated..... HomeRite Windows & Doors as well as the Stucco Crew did a fantastic job!! After I posted the review I received a call the very next morning from Mr. Gates personally NOT to tell me how he didn't like my review BUT to tell me how sorry he was and that he himself was not aware of my issues. i told him I know my review wasn't all positive and gave him my apologies even though I had a concern. He said to me these words.... People will leave good & bad reviews with any company. He said I am not worried about your review BUT I am more concerned about my customer Tim Watson. WOW! That right there just reassured me that my wife and I made the RIGHT choice choosing HomeRite! He had me on a call with Mark & Jim. Mr.Gates had them at my home within 2 hours. Upon arrival they didn't get out of their trucks with attitudes BUT rather with a genuine concern and very apologetic. They discussed with me the install method to a detail and i was assured that the problem was not from HomeRite installation team. Things can happen sometimes when different subs our on a big project like mine was. It was just a simple error that came about with other work I had done. They were quick not to point fingers or judge just giving an explanation of the possible cause. Within about 30 minutes they had the frame spotless. Mr Gates thank you for being so concerned about your customer and I can not thank you enough for the quick turnaround. Mark & Jim I appreciate you both. And i know this sounds repetitive but I want to stress this. If you are in the market for new windows You will not go wrong choosing HomeRite Windows & Doors. They will do you a fabulous job and I promise you will sleep well knowing you chose this company. Mr. Gates & your team get 5 stars for excellent customer service and workmanship. Requested an in-home estimate appointment, online, for a patio door replacement. Received a prompt…read moreemail response on 9/17/22 that a rep would contact me. Received the call, was told the date requested was available but no one could come out until 1:30pm. I accepted the 1:30pm time slot and looked forward to the date. On the scheduled date & time, 09/27 1:30pm we were waiting. 1:50pm No call-No sho so called Window world and told THERE WAS NO APPOINTMENT MADE US! Asked if I'd like to reschedule, NO, thanks. We'd wasted enough time with Window World already and think this failure on this part may be indicative of the service we may have received if they had shown up.

This is quite long but you need the whole story. We wanted…read moreto like Window World. But we didn't. The price was decent but that's as far as it went. We ordered our windows August 9th and wrote a deposit check for half the amount, which they promptly cashed the next business day. We were told by our salesman that they were running about 6 to 8 weeks but it could be 8 to 12 weeks. Seems a bit long but, OK. Then, we waited. We never heard a word. No communication whatsoever. So, at 8 weeks we called and we were told it would, in fact, be more like 12 weeks. At 12 weeks no word still so we called and the story changed to, "No.... we told you 12 to 16 weeks" (we were NOT told 12 to 16 weeks). But then, they couldn't even get them at 16 weeks it got pushed to 18! And not once during the 18 weeks did anyone from Window World reach out to us. We always had to contact them to try to find out what was going on. Keep in mind they had our deposit from day one. If we thought we would be waiting 18 weeks for windows we would never have ordered them. Meanwhile we have three different neighbors around us having windows replaced. We stopped and asked. "How long did you have to wait for your windows?". Two had to wait 4 weeks and one had to wait 5 weeks yet we are waiting 18 weeks. We had to wait longer than the three of them COMBINED. That's beyond ridiculous. Now it's mid/late-December (that's right we started in early August), let's get to the installation. Once the windows finally came in, they agreed to come out the very next day. They sent two people to install 14 windows. It took them two days which isn't bad (Dec 18th/19th), but when they finished some of the windows were extremely hard to open and 4 windows failed city inspection for not enough fasteners. They came back out and adjusted some of the windows and made the correction for the inspection failure on the morning of December 20th (they should have never left with the windows like that in the first place). They didn't pay for the reinspection when they found out about the failure. Instead, they waited until Monday (which is now December 23rd) and the inspectors are already booked for the day. The city is shut down for Christmas eve and Christmas day so now we have to wait until the 26th. And, to add insult to injury, Window World tells me "Give us a call next year and we will come and finish up putting in the plugs and caps after your final inspection. We are closing today (Dec 23rd) and won't reopen until after the 1st". Are you kidding me? After all this? We have been waiting since the first week of August now you're telling me to wait till next year because your windows failed inspection and you decided to wait to pay the fee? On Jan 2nd I drove to Window World a to pay the remaining balance (I've always felt obligated to pay my bills even if the service is less than stellar). Once again, they cashed my check the very next day at 9am (I get text alerts on my phone when large amounts are withdrawn). Seems strange that a big company like that would need to rush down to the bank for money. Oh, and by the way, for all you veterans out there. They claim to be veteran friendly on their web page and have a huge veteran initiative. But don't expect a military discount. As for the actual windows, only time will tell. We got their series 4000 double hung insulated windows. They have the Energy Star certification marking on them rated for the southern states. But, until they have been through a few Florida winters and summers, we will reserve judgment. They do have a lifetime warranty (as most company's do) but, if it took 18 weeks to get the windows, how long will it take to get a replacement when/if one breaks?
