Came out with a perfect golden hedgehog, and a very interesting history of the company that makes them. It seems the company split...one group got the molds, and one the use of the heart shaped labels with OWC inscribed (if you have older ornaments you will know what that is) The group with the molds went to manufacture in China, and they are still in business. The other group has not fared as well. The Chinese ornaments are still painted with the original German paints, and they have released many old designs, including my charming hedgehog. Happy girl!!

However, the lady that runs this place would not give me a refund, citing the fact that "she had tried it on herself and it was fine", and repeatedly invalidating my experience. Though the receipt did say "final sale", when a customer purchases a product, flaws should be disclosed. Otherwise, there is an implicit agreement that what you're selling me is functional. I think their actions are telling of how they conduct themselves as a business: if they can't even do the due diligence to assess an item's state and disclose it to the customer, how can you expect to have a good experience?

Their selections range from actual antique to vintage inspired and have a shabby cottage, farm chic flair. Quality of their wares is superior with items in excellent condition. Ladies working the front counter are very sweet and will chat with you about the area or your shopping selections. I found some beautiful pieces-a bright blue clear glass bird, a bright and colorful new throw pillow and some nature inspired canvas art-all items under $30 each.
