He's very talkative which made me anxious but that's just because I'm a bit nervous and have social anxiety. But he's very polite and informative on what he has and what we were looking for. We had got a dresser that was really pretty for 150$ and it was more than I wanted to spend because I had been trying to find a good thrift store dresser but the quality, the style, and just overall was great for the price. All real wood aswell being that cheap right now is amazing! There was also a vanity we had gotten the same day, it looks like a normal wooden table/desk but the middle panel of the table opens up into a mirror with makeup storage and ect. All real wood and made in the 1800s! For 150$ same price as the dresser. Both are very pretty and amazing. I'm really happy with my purchases here! As well the owners sons were very helpful with loading our items into our car. In general this is a amazing store, it has a lot of amazing furniture that has history with it. After we picked up several items from our order, I asked about the status of a third item. I was told that it was at the Englewood location and was about to be transferred to the Littleton store by Monday. They said if i want to pick it up earlier from the Englewood location i can go there the next day and pick up before the weekend. I specifically asked whether I needed to call the Englewood location to confirm before making the trip. The representative assured me that it was unnecessary and that we could simply go pick it up. We drove across town, only to discover that the item was not there. Instead, we were told that it was being transferred from Arizona, not Grand Junction as we had understood, and would not arrive any earlier than Monday at the Englewood location. This was a complete failure of communication and customer service. We wasted our time and gas because we relied on information provided by the store's own representative. It is unacceptable to give customers incorrect information without verifying the facts first. The entire experience left me questioning whether anyone at this location actually cares about providing accurate information and respecting customers' time. Whether this was incompetence or simply a lack of concern, the result was the same: a frustrating and unnecessary trip. I expect better from American Furniture Warehouse. Customers should not have to chase down their own orders or waste hours because employees cannot provide accurate updates. I hope management addresses this lack of communication and accountability so other customers do not have the same experience.

Well, we can't keep everything in stock." I told her we drove a half an hour to get here to see that chair and I was unaware that it wasn't in stock. She asked where we drove from. I told her North Arvada. She replied." There's no way it took you a half an hour. It's a 15 minute drive I live in Broomfield. I know where you live". I cannot believe the unprofessionalism rudeness and laughing when I complained about the drive for nothing. She had the gall to ask if we wanted to look at anything else. I said absolutely not. We will go someplace else with our business. I thought this was an upscale furniture store with professional staff members. We should have been told the chair was not in stock. We should not have been treated rudely and flippantly. Do not give this place your business.

The Joybird Elliot Apartment Corner Sectional was one of the only options I found that checked both boxes, and I also liked that it was made in the U.S. I went into the store so I could see the different fabrics in person and get a better sense of the style and construction. Suz helped me through the process and was awesome to work with. I was also able to purchase during a sale, which definitely helped with the overall value. I was quoted about five weeks for the sectional to arrive, and that estimate was accurate. Communication and delivery were smooth, everything arrived on time, and the delivery team did a great job getting everything set up. I've only had the sectional for a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far I'm extremely happy with it. I really like the fabric, which is soft and comfortable, and the cushions have a firmness that I really like without making the sofa uncomfortable. It's also surprisingly comfortable for napping. The length gives me the extra seating I wanted while the apartment-sized configuration works really well in my space.
