PT folks, Morgan, Adriana, Kimi, Stephanie, and Gwen were there everyday to help me gain the usage of my left knee. Excellent folks and they followed plans to get me on my way as soon as possible. I can't think of anything that would make me change my mind on the quality of the care I received there.

Please don't ever put your elders here they get treated worse. And if you do put them please check up on them every single day and make sure check what she ate or did or not some CNA's bring the food trays but ignore feeding that patients who needs help and they would either feed the patient one or two sPoons and report that he denies eating that's a lie. From what I've seen here and experience with my relative this place has to go through some serious trainings. Also management is worse if you report something about their CNA'S or nurses they take their side instead of doing something about it and making it right.

My mom stayed here most nights and I bought her a reclining foldable chair and they did not complain. Facility is also super clean and does not have a funny smell. I work EMS so I've been to a few SNF and this one seems to be the best. Wooden floors = no lingering smell = easy to clean. Bathroom is clean. The staff at first took a couple of days to adjust to my dad's medications, they forgot to give him his eye drops etc but after a while they were on it. They also gave me a sandwich and beverages which was very much appreciated as I visited my dad for 4-6 hours. There were also times where I stayed past the suggested visiting hours and never got a hard time from them about it. My only complaint would be the parking. It is tiny and when it's full it could be hard to find parking on the street. But honestly most residents here never really got visited as often as I did with my dad so it wasn't a huge issue. I'd like to thank the Filipino staff that took care of my dad as well as the rest of the staff including the physical therapists. They are great and this is a great facility, highly recommend. -Craft family

This is an update to my review below:…read more I received a notification this morning that this review has been reported as inaccurate or false. I believe this is being done by the business itself as a way to hide a factual account of something that happened, which is absolutely egregious. I've written over 500 Yelp reviews over the last 15 or so years, none of which have been falsified. Furthermore, if Mountain Manor truly felt I was wrong, why haven't they reached out to me directly by sending a message on Yelp? Seems more likely that they are aware of issues at their facility and rather than reaching out, they are trying to hide less-than-stellar reviews. Think about that while searching for a place to care for your loved ones.

Their competence, knowledge, compassion and great listening skills is why I believe UC Davis has partnered with them as their affiliate Home Care Agency. Communication skills, patience and experience with homebound patients is different from health care providers in an outpatient or hospital setting. They definitely have that from years of experience in home care. Thank you to this team and the owner of American River Health Care for his insight and providing extra much needed services for free that are not provided by insurance. You have set the bar high! P.S. It's important for NEW home care patients to understand that home care professionals are unable to stick to a specific appointment time frame due to travel time and the importance of judging when the patient is physically and mentally ready before leaving for their next patient.

Now these nursing facilities vary in their level of cleanliness as well as their effectiveness in their duties serving their clientele. Some seem to cater to the elderly, while lacking the ability to serve those in need of true rehabilitation (learning to walk again after physical trauma or stroke event). While no one place can truly do it all, the staff at Whitney Oaks is caring and knowledgeable in their duties. From the attention the patients get around the clock from every nurse, CNA, and orderly on duty, to the administration there to assist you and your family navigate the overwhelming financial process that always rears its ugly head. Insurance, Medicare-Medical, Veteran's Administration as well. Ive been able to sit in on a few Physical Therapy sessions with my father and have had the pleasure, and always educational, chats with some of the residents attending their daily P.T. sessions. Seeing the care these folks get and the progress they make to enter the next phase of their lives is really inspiring. I happened to have made a full recovery from my ordeal, despite being an amputee i have learned to walk again and its all due to those who cared enough to assist me. I can honestly say it would have been a much easier ordeal had I been admitted to Whitney Oaks. Abe Olsen has given his personal time and attention to my entire family when needed showing us that he really cares about those under his care and direction. Not just those assigned to rooms in his halls, but every ones families, both patient and staff, creating a supportive welcoming atmosphere needed to get through these challenging times. I can't say enough good things about All Seasons. First I will start with Toly the owner . From the time I reached out, he was attentive, communicative and kind. He spent so much time with me, easing my fears and worries that we would find the right place for my dad. He kept me updated all along the way with the waiting process. And he gave me such good advice during the time we were waiting for a spot to open up for my dad. I will never forget the kindness and compassion and dignity he showed our family along the entire process. Second, Lauren, the house manager at the home my dad was in. From day one, she came alongside my dad-really wanting to know him, to understand him, and to help him thrive during his time at All Seasons. Her care and love for dementia patients and their families is second to none. I was constantly amazed at not only her patience and kindness towards my dad (who was very difficult a lot of time) but also to us as his family who were trying to navigate the difficult behaviors and circumstances surrounding his disease. We will forever be indebted with gratitude that my dad had Lauren as his caregiver and advocate for the last part of his life. Also, Hector, Lilly, Melissa and so many more. All the caregiver at All Seasons seemed to be called to care for these special patients. My dad had previously been in a large memory care. For everyone there-it was a job and only that. Not at All Seasons. They hire only those who truly care about patients living with dementia. As a nurse of 28 years, I can whole heartedly recommend All Seasons for your loved one with dementia.
