I wish I remember who drew my blood but it did not feel like I had a needle in me at all. I was in and out of LabCorp within 10 minutes. The place was kept clean and it helped ease my discomfort with getting my blood drawn. The location is also so convenient! It's getting easier and easier to book appointments with them as well - they have improved their system online so you can schedule at your own convenience. This will be my go-to moving forward for my blood draws.

Despite arriving before the stated closing time, the doors had already been locked and staff would not allow patients inside. Closing early may seem minor, but for patients coordinating medical appointments around overnight healthcare work schedules, it can have a significant impact. I rearranged my recovery sleep and spent time and gas driving to the location specifically because the posted hours indicated I would still be able to be seen. If a location plans to stop accepting patients before the official closing time, I think it's only reasonable that it be clearly communicated online and on-site so patients can plan appropriately. Otherwise, the posted closing time is misleading. I understand we all are eager to get home after a long day, but ultimately we have a duty to follow through with what we tell our patients they can expect from us. Hopefully this was just a one-off for a location that has otherwise received five stars.

This became a horrific event of gross incompetence. Having worked 3.5 years at a Michigan Blood Bank, I was well aware of the need to hydrate and did drink 32 oz of water with-in the hour prior. I arrived at 8:30 AM and only 2 patients were seated in the lobby ahead of me. I stood in front of the receptionist, who totally ignored my presence, for quite a while until another patient pointed out a kiosk. At 73 yrs old, technology is not your friend, but I stumbled through it. The receptionist continued to ignore me, she was NOT on the phone or in a conversation. When I was finally taken back by the phlebotomist, I described and showed her where, on my right arm, most people have had the best luck finding a good vein. I don't enjoy being stuck twice and this help almost always leads to getting a good stick the first time. Bottom line... I was stuck 10 times (3 on the inside of each elbow, and 2 on each hand), performed by 3 phlebotomists including the robot receptionist. I told them, I'm done!!! Then asked for their suggestions of 'next steps'. They offered nothing. I asked if they would do an ultrasound guided venipuncture. They stated they had never heard of such thing. I have left a message with my NW Dr... I would think most people, like myself, seeing you are within the walls of NW Hospital, assume you are NW employees. That should concern NW Specialty Hospital.

Everyone was so so so so helpful, friendly, and just all around fantastic. I was able to be seen and get everything and more taken care of in a timely manner as well! Thank you and everyone at CHAS. From the moment I walked in at the front desk to the moment I left I was more than taken care of. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and just the whole team for making life a little easier. I appreciate you!!!

This urgent care had the best ratings (all the rest were poor in the area) & I go to Chas Clinic…read morefor provider svcs which is pretty good so I expected different from what happened. This was last Wed Dec 6th. Not a good experience overall unfortunately. I went in before 9am w/ only 2 people in front of me. One had a slight cough. I checked in w/SOB, chest pain, temp of 102+, massive shivering/chills, body pain so bad I couldn't sit still. "Oh...I'm sorry." front desk says. This place does not triage at all. Obviously if I needed emergent care I would've gone to one of the "quality" ERs (lol) in the area..I get it ok. Waited over an hr to get called back, waiting room was really filling up by then. Get checked in w/vitals, etc. "ooh you've got quite a fever going!" The MA says. NP comes in gives me a 5 min look over I say I just need some antibiotics please I'm coughing up green/have temp, etc and I just want to go back home. I have everything else to treat this. I have hx of sinusitis & bronchitis & I didn't say but I'm a nurse. He says sure yes that sounds appropriate "I'll be back in a few minutes" after 2 COVID tests & a flu test. I'm laying on the exam table curled up in a ball shivering & in pain thinking he's (or anyone) will be back...those MF's left me in there for an hour!!!!! When I got home I looked at my missed calls log & could tell. I couldn't get off the exam table to get my phone. I started feeling really nauseous and REALLY HOT so had been calling out for a barf bag & some help NO ONE CAME IN. NO ONE. Couldn't even pop their head in to check in, you know like even doctors offices do when you've been waiting a while? Understand, I was in a pretty bad state as the last time I was this sick I had leukemia w/neutropenic fevers. That's what it felt like, it was horrific so prob had a tinge of PTSD anxiety mixed in too. Which may make my case a little more dramatic but that's healthcare- you never know peoples backstories or what they're going through. Or what they've been through. Anyway I could literally hear them cackling & chatting *right outside my door* completely ignoring me. I flopped off the table almost falling down I'm so lightheaded, open the door & say "how long are you guys going to pretend like you don't hear me?" "I can literally hear you verbatim out here & I've been calling for help waiting patiently for someone to come back in" I said "YOU LEFT ME in there with a triple digit temp, wracked with body pain, didn't offer me Tylenol, water, a blanket, nothing. What's up w/that?" They're all bug eyed lmao. Like they'd been caught/called out. Huh. One woman had the audacity to look me in the eye & say "I didn't hear you". Grrrrrrr.. My NP was SITTING THERE (right, I mean right outside my door) ON HIS COMPUTER (what, catching up on charting? Facebook?) he says "I'll check with your provider on the Tylenol. Huh?? Comes in 10min later w/Tylenol & water & apologizes for them not having a call light system? Uh, okay? Brings my paperwork I'm thinking finally! Nope, meds aren't even ready!!! Hahahhaaaa. Says I can cont to wait there, in the (now crowded) waiting room, or in my car. Gee let me think. I go check in w/the pharmacy to tell them I'm waiting outside they say they will call when my meds are ready. NP was trying to prescribe all this OTC stuff I knew my insurance wouldn't cover so I said no to allll that please, just the antibiotics. "Sure, it will be fast, just a few minutes" he says. Almost 45 min later I get a text (not a call so I didn't hear it right away, thanks guys!) I go in there and they had pulled EVERYTHING. Say my insurance didn't cover anything but antibiotics. Hahahhaaaaa OH.MY.GOD. I'm delirious at this point. Grabbed the pills and drove home that whole ordeal took THREE HOURS!!!That's my rant. I'm sorry but what the hell. I get you guys are "publicly funded" but that is no excuse for the way I was treated. Where was the empathy? I work in healthcare...you always want to try to manage pain & anything else in your immediate control (if u have any kind of empathy) to comfort someone like water, a blanket, checking in, FOLLOWING THROUGH ON WHAT YOU SAY. Anything! Don't tell someone you'll be right back & leave them in that state for that long. It's neglectful and just unkind. **They had MULTIPLE staff members lounging at the nurses station right outside my door.** SMH. I'm grossly disappointed and hope maybe NP Gregory & co were just having a bad day or this was a one off thing. I was totally respectful to them from the start and more than patient. Dammit. I feel like I was totally at their whim and I'm thinking gosh, what would've happened if I hadn't come out of the room...?????

Jeff checked the box and overlooked a…read morebathroom fan exhaust that wasn't installed, and instead laying in the attic against framing. There wasn't even a cut-out for it. Basic inspection 101. Second item as sonotube left installed below grade surrounding the sump. After being very sick these past 7+ years since moving into our home, multiple doctors visits, etc thinking I had debilitating MS, turns out, after deep investigation, I suspected we had mold. Turns out, we DID! Testing revealed toxic levels a 14/15 (15 you need to vacate). Not only do we have extremely high levels of the most toxic mold species Stachybotrys, Chaetomium, to name two of the several types found in the home, in the missed areas. Not to mention extreme levels inside my body. Contacted him to let him know if the "big misses". His comment was "thanks for letting me know". $60k+ and counting for remediation, repair, new carpeting and all new furnishings as the toxins and spores penetrate every single porous surface. Hours and hours of manual labor to small particle clean every single item and surface in entire home. Ongoing illness and doctors' bills. THE CLINCHER? We had even emailed prior to inspection to upgrade to infrared as we had mold concerns having moved from the south. He advised that we would utilize the infrared and go from there if anything was pointed out using the device. We have since emailed him, with all of the labs, findings, costs and data (to include the mold concerns prior to inspection), and we have had ZERO RESPONSE!!! His negligence has cost our family pain, suffering and financial hardship. We understand that some things in an inspection can go unoticed when they are hidden. THIS WAS BLATANTLY obvious. We didn't quite know what to expect when we emailed him recently. We had asked how he was planning on contributing. Update- I received an email telling me to remove my factual review, that can all be backed by documentation. Received response letter. Letter was complete of legal jargon as to how they are not legally responsible. We knew this is the contract essentially frees them of every single thing including negligence. And it has been nearly 8 years. In my response, I agreed there was no legal standing, yet morals and ethics could have superseded. Note that house was built in 2013. Edition was in 2014, in which the builder removed fan vent as interfered with edition, and had never reinstalled the vent. It had been up against framing 4 years PRIOR to inspection. Keep in mind, we upgraded to infrared to point out any potential moisture issues. This particular bathroom was being used, therefore it should have been picked up via this mechanism. Builder acknowledged this, and can show documentation that it was this way upon inspection via builder communication. Old vent cut-out was boarded over in 2014, and no new cut-out was made for new placement. Inspection was in 2018. Just because the contract frees them of everything doesn't change the fact that it happened. See review from Dr Hsu. He elaborates on the extent of their contract. Every single person we discussed these issues with (mainly vent) were in disbelief that our inspector didn't catch this very obvious, very VISUAL issue. My prominent realtor/broker cousin (whom refers Jeff), builder, remediation company, etc.

Jeff gave a lot of helpful suggestions and answered many questions during the inspection, which is…read morewhy the rating isn't lower here. However, he did not fulfill a lot of pieces of the premium (mid-level) package we had paid $560 for. Before we purchased a package, he sent us a video from the website that showed we would get the documents printed on hand at the house. This did not happen, but not a big deal. He also told us in the email when we were purchasing a package that "the 360 package" would not be available but didn't mention anything else. We carefully read through the full list of features on the website, and the one item that lists 360 in its name wasn't necessary to us, as long as we got the room measurements feature we were paying the higher package price for. In getting the report after, we didn't see the room measurements, and when asked about this, he said that it was included in the 360 package. Nowhere does it mention that this is part of a 360 package. Only after I pointed that out did he mention that he didn't charge us for those particular missing services, but that they now had the equipment to be able to provide them for ~$50-75 more. When I asked him to provide a receipt that specifies the original price minus the cost of those missing services, he responded that he could not provide those amounts because of the system he uses to figure out costs doesn't do ala carte prices. He had never mentioned a lower price until we inquired about missing services and he was unable to provide a receipt for the premium package minus these missing services but wanted to charge us for services we had thought we'd paid for the first time. I'm not sure how much of this is him or the Pillar to Post franchise chain, but more transparency around the packages and costs up front would have been great. On top of that though, he didn't notice/report the rodent droppings or traps we later found in the kitchen cabinets or the mold in the washing machine (he also didn't scan the machine's model like he did other appliances so maybe that's why he didn't notice it). So also inconsistency in being really thorough on parts of the house and less so on others.
