I attended Dr. C's (Keith Carodine) circuit training class just to see what it was all about and I ended up signing up for a one month membership. Unfortunately my schedule didn't allow me to continue training there but highly recommend it to anyone!

The server did as good as a job as she could, believed she was new and very nervous. She tried her best BUT she never once came back to check on us or our quality of food. This should not have been a problem since we were her only table. There was only about 10 people eating in the restaurant when we left. The food was the worst and after telling the manager the problem she only said she was going to try the items we ate and see what could be done. The manager offered NOTHING to correct the food and just acted like we were just complaining. DO NOT EAT HERE. Another problem was the parking since they only have two handicapped parking places. This place will not be in business very long and they will no one to blame but themselves.

While the classes are great, the owner can sometimes be really unsupportive (to put it nicely) of his students and teachers/staff and occasionally berate them in front of everyone else. It often seemed like the owner would rather get rid of people or drive them away than address an issue that he played a lead role in creating. Over the years, I've seen more people turned away from capoeira than I've seen encouraged : / I also learned that rumors were spread about former students after they left, which was really upsetting. Though you might not have the same experience, if you do train here, it's probably a good idea to try not to get too close.
