love coming to APEX and I enjoy how easy it is to book on the app. I have a changing work schedule…read moreso it's easy to make cancellations on the app as needed. I love the variety of classes and teachers that APEX offers! My favorite is deep space and I wish they offer more variety such as two levels with it. Otherwise it's my favorite time of the week are my APEX classes. I highly recommend checking it out!

I joined their studio on the 22nd of January 2025. I'd recently moved to Gainesville 2 months prior…read moreand I was looking for a yoga studio. They had a 30 days/ $30 Special so I thought I'll give them a try. I went To class there for two weeks approx. The classes were fun. There were various instructors. They take your keys ( car , house, mail box) in exchange for a locker key . I trusted my keys would be safe there while I attended classes. I was yet to unpack my own locker keys from my boxes. I attended there classes for two weeks. On the last day I attended class there - after I'd showered and went to my car - I noticed the car had been scratched along the right passenger side . I had parked in the first parking spot next to the lamp post and the car is almost brand new and was previously totally unscathed. Upon approaching the car I noticed a scratch along the right passenger side. Someone had driven my car while I was in class and scratched the car, and they were the ones with my car keys. It was at least a $500 damage. I went inside and told them someone scratched the car while I was in your studio for almost 1.5 hours and the yellow/ golden car paint was still on the car . They denied that they had driven the car. The girl at reception said " I didn't scratch your car." I called the police to file a report and the police did not arrive for another 4 hours. And upon arrival took their side. The following day I went back to class and they initially said : " wait there's a spot" . The instructor even offered to give me his spot but after I went to use the bathroom they changed their mind and said you can't attend class after the police incident the previous day. I called the following day to ask for a refund of half the money because I had only attended two weeks of the 4 weeks promised classes but they called back and were incredibly rude . I was having my morning coffee in Starbucks and the manager in the phone was so rude. He said : " you're harassing my staff and if you I go anywhere near my studio or staff they will call the police!! Not at all ZEN!!! I was so so shocked at their response that I called the police immediately! I was at Starbucks drinking coffee! I asked the police what I was supposed to do and that if I could have puzza at the " Da Vinci " pizza place across from there - although frankly after what had happened I would not even touch anything near that place with a barge pole!! The police said : " of course you can eat at the restaurants but don't go to their studio." And that was my experience from yoga pods in SW GAINESVILLE FLORIDA. Im writing this review on the 26th of February 2025. I was not refunded and I obviously didn't go back there. I had moved to Gainesville 2 month prior to this experience in November 2024 and I'm really disappointed by what happened. I've done yoga since the year 2000; 25 year ago . I started in Edinburgh Scotland, when my coach recommended that it would strengthen my running! I've done yoga and Pilates in Miami, salt lake Utah , Orange County California and many hours at home. I'm pretty sure I even attended yoga here at the university of Florida gym years ago. I have thousands of hours of experience. What happens there was disappointing, unprofessional, shocking and unacceptable!! I'm frankly lost for words. They didn't even apologize! I don't have the finances to fix my car. And they were the ones with car my keys. The car was a gift from my father and it was almost brand new. I'm yet to receive the police report. Frankly they should be ashamed! They left a very bad mark on their records, And a very disappointing note in my memoirs!!

This studio truly embodies the name of "flow space" in the best way. I attended my first class…read morerecently, a Thursday morning guided flow, and didn't know what to initially expect since I'm new to free flowing styles of movement. I was a bit intimidated, but was soon at ease thanks to the teacher's guidance. This space is beautiful, well maintained, and truly welcoming. I've been searching for a home movement studio, which wouldn't have been accessible if it weren't for their Flow Exchange program. Simply put, I volunteer weekly for access to their weekly classes, and I think it's beyond worth it. I love community involvement, and it warms my heart to see a movement/yoga studio giving people an opportunity to be involved when cost could be a significant barrier. This studio is a collective of open, loving, and kind hearted humans, and I'm very excited to attend future classes!

The space is beautiful. It is shaped like a small high school gymnasium with an arched sealing, and exposed wooden beams, hard wood floors, and brick walls. This is a perfect setting for all kinds of events in addition to yoga and meditation. It really is lovely. Maggie, the leader in today's yoga session, was lovely as well. What I loved best about today's yoga session was the sound quality. So often these places blast you with so much extra sound from hip-hop, to new age raga, that it is difficult to hear. The clash of sounds in many of these yoga establishments is anything but peaceful, and create a situation where you must rely on visual contact with the leader to follow along. This is not the case in Flow Space. The acoustics were excellent, and the balance of sound made for a pleasant experience. The hitch to this place is the lack of ample convenient parking. There is probably overflow parking somewhere, I do not know, we could not stay and ask questions because we had other people from the class parked in and had to rush away as soon as yoga finished. This lack of parking will not only limit the number of people who can attend classes and meditations at this location, but it also makes this a less attractive event space. And this really sucks because spaces like this can change the world. I know that is a big claim, "spaces like this can change the world," and it is asking a lot of a small business in a small college town, but I am reminded of the Beatles song, Within You Without You. "When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find peace of mind is waiting there And the time will come when you see we're all one And life flows on within you and without you" I get a pretty good read on some people, and I feel that seeing and peace of mind is where Maggie is going, and that she and this space could help others do the same. She is selling Hatha Yoga, but she seems to be applying Kriya Yoga sensibilities. If only there was a place to park our dinosaur consuming, carbon spewing, steel boxes. I highly recommend Flow Space, and Yoga guided by Maggie. I want this space to flourish.

Things to keep in mind, you can't freeze your membership after the first of the month and you can't freeze it with monthly balance due either even if you won't use it for that month, also can't cancel without a fee, and the staff is the most unhelpful group, I understand there is policy but what happened to working with customers, I am not sure if it is this location's policy or corporate's policy but it is very unhelpful so beware if choosing to enroll.

HotWorx is not like your normal gym, it is a fitness studio that specializes in isometric and HIIT workouts in an infrared sauna. Each sauna is equipped with 15 min or 30 min workouts with a virtual instructor where you book them via the Hotworx app. The studio also has a mini gym in the back with TRX bands, free weights, and kettlebells. Also, there's bathrooms with showers as well. I love that this place is open 24/7 where you have access via an individual code or through the Brivo Pass app. When the staff is there, they are pretty friendly and ensure that the gym stays clean and saunas are warmed up for your workout. My 3 favorite workouts here are Hot Core, Hot Cycle (15 min HIIT class) , and Hot Pilates. If you decide to join or try a free workout - be prepared for A LOT of sweat. So make sure you drink a lot of water prior, during, and after. I love the concept of being able to further accelerate detoxification while increasing my heart rate to maximize fat loss and burning calories. If you stay consistent with the workouts, in no time you will see and feel amazing results physically and mentally!
