The lady behind me, went to the second register, which I thought was a little unfair because I was there before she was - either way I signed both my sons in - I thought, but when I looked up at the screen, only one was up there. I told the lady I think something happened when I signed my kids and I don't see both sons at top. She is like - OK you did it wrong - I can sign him in and then suddenly, he's like way down the list and I was like wait a minute we're the first ones here- there was an issue with the sign in process and I don't wanna have to wait an hour for my second son when the other one is the first on the list. The lady said no - kept telling me it was "my fault" that I didn't sign them in right. - and she has to go buy what's on the screen and I said well although I understand what your saying it's just not right here because I really was the first at the store waiting. I don't know what to say but her interaction with me except that was very challenging because I kept trying to explain myself which she took as my arguing with her- ugh. The conversation was not comfortable. It was loud for sure. It kept going because all I wanted was to be heard and understood and she was having NO PART of understanding. She was not empathetic. Then she use this word on me - that I was "entitled"'. I think this is a very triggering word right now. Her interaction with me was so rude that I felt it was aggressive. I wanted to wait outside the store to calm down and she thought I was trying to walk out without paying - although my kids were still in the store- and she threatened to call the police. She provides the level of detail that I come for, and obviously knows what I want every time. The counter service is always friendly and helpful. I love the vibe here, as they are quick to offer a beer or a shot of something stronger to relax you, and you can choose from standard services for men, including disposable straight edge shaves, to some of the less common like waxing of eyebrows or ears or nose. Everyone gets along here and I don't notice unneeded drama. Lots of laughs. Caveats: some or most of the barbers here are in high demand, I recommend you plan well in advance. They use the Squire app to manage your appointments remotely or call into their phone number. No photos as there are always people in there.
