I have access to this service through my insurance so when I decided to give it a shot and get a wheelchair accessible van to take me to my physical therapy appointment, I figured it would be pretty straightforward. 10 minutes after they were supposed to be there I get a call saying that the WAV was still 30mins away and if my wheelchair could fit in a smaller car. Another 10mins go by and an Uber driver pulls up. The name on his pop-up is Mohammed and I almost had to call AL to have them speak to the guy to convince him I was his customer. Luckily for me I was in a residential area with no other potential customers around. I made it to my appointment on time, but I'm now dreading the return ride. Unprofessional and disappointing - I feel lucky that my chair is able to be taken apart and fit in a standard trunk. read more

American logistics is a third-party company and they hire trash companies to drive people around. There are several companies that they choose that have absolutely no quality. The one company they hired the driver was on his phone damn near drove off the road at 65 miles an hour. Another company had two different drivers that asked the question you live in the middle of nowhere where you must own guns another company had a driver that spoke broken English and could not say I need to stop and use the bathroom. He shit his pants apparently that's acceptable in their country. If you book a trip it's nice to kinda get confirmation the day before the shittiest companies will not do this to WRIGHT then and there you can expect a horrible company trying to speak to anybody at American logistics to get help and having a quality company. There's absolutely no way you can speak to somebody with intelligence. Apparently this company has been around since 1999. If your insurance uses this company, find another insurance company as soon as next enrollment rolls around. We have been left with no pickup at all, despite all confirmations. If you are a caregiver, you cannot rely on this company at all. Wheelchair vans especially are a big problem. These are the most vunerable of patients and cannot miss appointments because no ride arrives. They lie and tell you they are on their way...no one shows. They say we are no shows. We are waiting with the front door open, patient in wheelchair, I am outside on the street looking for ride to flag them down...no one showed. Get a option of another company and ask your insurance company if they will reimburse. Do not risk your patients care or your own to this company read more

This company is one of the worst health transportation companies I have ever had to deal with. Customer service is horrible, they speak broken English, and they don't understand proper English. I have had to interrupt them over and over to repeat what they are saying. They lie about picking me up from my doctor appointments to take me home. I have waited more than 1 hour and 25 minutes to get transportation back home, with no explanation of why they were late. Even some of their own drivers said that the company doesn't care about getting you to and from your appointments, they just care about making money off of you. Their Van's are filthy dirty, there were so many finger prints on the windows you could bear lying see out. The seats and gurney had dirt on them, and the floors of the Van was filthy. It looked like the Van hadn't been cleaned in months. I hate this company and I don't know why my health insurance hired them. read more

I have been unable to schedule rides online, and was told they are having some kind of technical issues. I am a senior and hard of hearing, so phone calls can be difficult, especially when the agent speaks very broken English, which they all do. Also, I no longer get a text message for my return ride (more technical issues), so I have to call AGAIN. The rides are through Uber and Lyft, and so far I've never been late to an appointment. However, I have had a couple of drivers who speed and make illegal, unsafe maneuvers to get me there on time because they picked me up late. read more

I do not recommend this company at all I have had nothing but problems with them my sister has a memory problem and is in a wheelchair she cannot stand or walk when we had rides from Providence we had no problem those people are so nice they were never late but this American Logistics is a joke really is a joke every time I have to get on the phone with them its at least an hour call and tell them their ride did not come or they're an hour late or they're talking bad to my sister as we could hear as family members being on the phone with my sister we could over hear the driver disrepecting my sister. I have made many complaints about particularly one company Focus that they're constantly late or don't show up at all my sister goes to dialysis three times a week it's a standing order how they get it mixed up I don't know it's the same every Monday Wednesday Friday she goes to wound care and then she goes to dialysis and then she goes home but half of the time they do not show up or they're like 45 minutes to an hour late. In fact there was a time when they picked her up to take her home from dialysis and ended up going the wrong direction to go take somebody else home which was like 30 minutes out of the way she didn't get home for like an hour and a half from dialysis which takes 15 minutes from the dialysis Place back to her house that was unacceptable. I don't understand why we can't get Providence back she's been going to dialysis for like 6 years now and before this recent change to American Logistics she had the same drivers that were amazing with my sister so compassionate and understanding team of drivers that had big hearts never a bad driver from Providence now her whole world has turned upside down with different drivers every time late to her appointments it's just not good for her memory problem as well as her health. I think she deserves way better and she's in end stage kidney failure so she's been on her last part of her life and she's devastated every day that we have to deal with the Rideshare that constantly stressing her out, as well as a family members as we have to hear that her rides not there so we have to try to figure out who's going to go get her to give her a ride home or to give her a ride to wound care it's just unacceptable in fact one of the drivers just a few days back missed picking her up at 9:00 a.m. did show up 20 minutes late to the second ride and said I didn't have you on my list this morning for 9:00 and then he looked on his phone and said oops I guess I was supposed to pick you up. That's just not very professional at all. And that is that company Focus I really have told them over and over and over I do not want Focus to pick her up anymore I would rather have Providence as the number one choice for a ride for her but they took Providence off and continue with Focus the one I do not want I mean I don't understand what they're not getting from all of this. It's very frustrating for the family members as well has not healthy at all for my sister's memory or her health. I didn't even want to put one star because I have had no good outcomes from American Logistics so far it's a constant battle with them. I had one person that was respectful to me when I told him the situation that was happening her name was Ashley she was a supervisor she took care of the whole standing order that was all messed up from the last supervisor that said it was all in place other than that every person I've talked to has been rude I've been hung up on they haven't fixed the problems I even had to call Alliance to The complaint department at least 10 to 15 times but nothing seems to be done about it. read more

They called 15 minutes before the estimated pickup time and reported the 3rd party transportation company they had contracted call last minute to cancel my dad's diaylysis transportation. Apparently, they contract with 3rd party vendors that are "cookie cutters" with bad reviews. Avoid this transportation company at all costs. These guys were bad, and getting worse and worse all the time. The recently implemented significant advance notice, presumably to deter abuse, but it's terribly inconvenient. If and when you can get through, listening to long frustrating outgoing messages you can't pass, only to be told, eventually, to schedule a call back, then after waiting for that, finally getting connected with someone clearly in training and often still learning English, only to be told you have to speak to a different department. It's ridiculous, they are going way too far attempting to save money on employees in an obvious attempt to automate a flawed system. They are doing a very poor job and the end consumer, patients, are having to pay a real premium for substandard service. It's unfortunate because it could be a pleasant and convenient process if managed properly, but greed and shortsightedness clearly won the battle at American Logistics for Molina. read more

I liked Molina's transportation program better before American Logistics took over. I could choose an independent carrier if I wanted, and I did. A big problem that I have with them is about Service Dogs. They contract with Uber and Lyft. They always tell me that they have notified the driver that I have a Service Dog, but many times, when the driver shows up, he/she says they were not notified and that they rec'd no notes. Then they say they don't do Uber Pet. Then I say, my dog is a Service Dog, not a pet. And many of the drivers get irate, and refuse to give me a ride, or they see me and my dog at a distance and don't bother to stop. Uber states its policy regarding Service Dogs clearly, which is that the driver must take them. I have reported drivers many times but they don't seem to care. It's like they get a slap on the wrist. Amer. Log. can't seem to fix their side of the problem. Then there's the issue of their annoying phone system. I end up repeating myself because they have a process where the robot asks for my identifying Info for a pre screen, only to ask me to repeat it once they connect me to a human. It's long and tedious. There's a 9 digit membership # , my birth date, my phone number. If my driver leaves me stranded, I have to go through the tedious process over again. Last time 3 drivers refused me. That means 3 annoying calls I have to make. I think they make their phone process irritating deliberately in order to put pressure on us to use their online portal instead. I haven't used it so I don't know if it's better or not. They also make us listen to annoying msgs while we are on hold waiting to speak to a human, like "get a flu shot" and use this form if you want door to door service instead of curb to curb. The doctor moved up my procedure by 1.5 hours. So, the nurse called them and was told by American Logistics that a driver would be there at 11:00 AM. Upon calling them at 11:30 AM, they said they wouldn't be there until 1:00 PM! THAT'S TWO HOURS ME WAITING IN THE RECOVERY AREA. They give no excuse why. Good luck using this service. read more

Horrible. From August 2023 to January 2024 they were a no-show ten times. Then they turn around and say we cancelled the appointment when we call to complain about the no show. In Janaury 2024 they abondoned my disabled senior brother 50 miles from home. We had to get Sheriff involved. This week, my brother came home from 16 days in the hospital, and was scheduled for a critical doctor appointment today requiring gurney transportation as he is now bedbound. We dreaded scheduling with American Logistics, and sure enough, they were an hour and 20 minutes late after the appointment, and my now bedbound brother was unable to receive medical care. Stacy, a call center supervisor said, "California's on fire. There are road closures and they can't get through." There is no fire nor road closure within 100 miles. They lie, and lie, and lie some more. Complaints and grievances filed with Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross go without change. Anthem Blue Cross rep says to reschedule. Yeah, stick your hand in a rattlesnake pit again, and again, and again. Our congressman has said to file complaint with US Inspector General, and Medicare recomended filing complaint with US Health and Human Services Civil Rights division. read more

They are constantly :15, :30 mi s late, up to over an hour late on a few occasions, if you have a choice do not choose this company. If I could give this company "negative" stars I would. I've been forced to use this transportation company for years by my insurance company, IEHP. They have ABSOLUTELY no concern for the safety of their passengers. I've had many different transportation companies assigned to me for several years. Being a paraplegic, double-amputee with numerous medical problems, I've had to be transported by gurney, instead of my wheelchair for the past two years. Companies have arrived with broken safety belts, filthy belts, gurney and vans. (See attached photos.) Unprofessional drivers who have no idea how to transport anyone via gurney is the norm. I've made numerous written complaints to IEHP. When I informed ALC of the unsafe conditions I was forced to tolerate, ALC Supervisor informed me to call ALC whenever I was in an unsafe van, and they would dispatch another van. However, they couldn't estimate how long that would take. I also inquired what passengers would do who cannot physically make that call, or don't have cell phones. I was then informed to call IEHP to file a grievance. I have filed many grievances with IEHP against ALC and against IEHP, as they contract with this horrible company to transport their members. Nothing has changed. In fact, the situation has worsened. IEHP should be ashamed for not only allowing ALC to continue this abuse, they pay them for it! read more

Recently my husband was involved in a bad car accident leaving him temporarily disabled. We found out that through our health insurance we could use American Logistics to help get him back and forth to appointments. Setting up rides has been very simple I will give them that. But also had some representatives that just did not want to do their jobs. We also have had incidents where the vehicle would arrive and it would be smelly, beat up and very dirty on the inside and out. The drivers buckles and safety belts were not always put together correctly causing my husband to shift in the back of the vehicle sometimes hitting wheelies when he is supposed to be buckled down. Some of the drivers we have encountered scared us shitless with close encounters of accidents and sudden brake hitting while traveling. We have voiced our concerns to the company and through our insurance provider. There has not been any change and thankfully my husband is now able to lift himself in and out of his wheelchair so now we just use AL for Uber rides. We have our struggles with using Uber through them because the Uber drivers always canceling the rides AL set up so we go through 2-4 cancellations before actually getting someone to pick him up. We will never use them for their wheelchair accessible vehicles and truly don't recommend anyone else too! American Logistics need to take more time ensuring the safety of these vehicles and ensuring their drivers are fully qualified to transport people carefully. read more
