Unfortunately Uber hasn't been available for wheelchair accessible rides lately - I found PNR on Google and they completely saved the day! They were able to transport us from Laguna Beach to Los Angeles same day, and they were the most reasonably priced transportation. Professional and so very helpful while we were in jam. (I used another service one time & they not only charged almost $100.00 more, but there was also a separate fee to use their wheelchair. Their owner also had MEGA surfer dude attitude...) Everyone else here does too. :D He's really one of a kind and has been more than helpful in offering information and advice about other services regarding care for seniors like my mom. Joe is truly an angel in disguise! Transport services is all new to me, it's not something we thought we would never need. Unfortunately, my mom fell 3 weeks ago in the house and since we are on the 2nd level, she cannot get down the stairs on her own. Have no fear though, Joe saved the day! PNR was actually referred to me through another company, that gentleman was just as nice as Joe! From day one, Joe kept in contact with me all the time, every step of the way. He texted and called to keep in touch, even with the last minute changes , he has been able to accommodate us. His van is so clean and nice inside! Not to mention his whole setup of transferring my mom downstairs to the van is so smooth. He really knows what he's doing. Really great experience with this company! They transported my mom (who is bedbound) and I from Southern California to a retirement home in the San Francisco bay area. The guy who set up the transport on the phone was very helpful and very patient with all of my particular questions. Wow! Talk about AWESOME customer service!!! Today I needed assistance going down a flight of stairs and back up, that is all I really needed. I needed to make a doctors appointment last minute and Joe was able to accommodate me into his schedule. Covid update!!! Wow I have to say this company was a life savior especially at this time of covid. First they do all the all the standard covid precautions of having extra masks, gloves, and quickly disinfecting after each ride. I live out of state and needed someone to take my grandmother in California to a few medical appointments. PNR was super awesome and patient on the phone and their pricing was lower than a few other places I called. My grandmother being elderly is usually don't feel comfortable with strangers but since its a small bussiness we got the same driver and she felt comfortable and enjoyed the conversation during each ride. I reached out to Tricia at PNR medical transport after our Scan transportation wouldn't cover my Dads wheelchair transport to get tested for Covid. Without hesitation she said she could have a van and her Driver Joe pick him up and he was actually 20 min. Early and they allowed up to a 2 hr. Window while we waited for the results.
