She arrived apologetically, however a call to the host would have been nice and since now we are almost 30 mins in to our 3 hr set up time, you'd think she would have offered to assist. Outside of that. It is a wonderful venue so long as you bring enough decorations to transform it into your own event. They are not strict, and allow access to kitchen amenities. I'd recommend it for sure.

Half-way through eating my mother came to me and my father (both USAF career) we need to pay the bartender 2-300, I said for what. She did t say. So then all the bar Flys dug in to the food and socializing with our grieving family. Next 13 years ago when my mother passed I contated the VFW Adjutant and Aux members when moms funeral was and not ONE member showed. My mom served as their Poppy Queen for years. VFW be damned.
