I joined the Knights of Columbus Council 4279 back in February and I have to say I don't regret it…read moreone bit. I met a bunch of really nice guys, who are now considered my brothers and fellow knights. The KoC have a really interesting background and story, and they also do a lot of good for the community and giveback to those who are less fortunate. They do a lot of volunteer work and help raise money for great causes. I plan to stay a knight for a long time because this is a band of brothers who are always there for one another.

I was really impressed with the facility. It is well-designed with nice furnishings and solid A/V technology. The conference center has an auditorium, atrium, computer labs, and meeting rooms. I believe I was in room 214/215. The room is a great meeting room for a large group. There was a giant, U-shaped, dark wood table. The chairs were super comfortable, too. The Conference Center at Mercer is a great venue for a meeting or conference!

28 East Events is a phenomenal place to have your event if you want to just show up and celebrate…read morein style. They handled it ALL for my sister's bridal shower. They decorated in her wedding colors on all three floors of the event space, included event-specific decorations (e.g., bride-to-be signs), provided a wealth of food (for which we got to take home leftovers), checked coats, and even had an appropriate playlist going on a good sound system. They even provided a gift to the guest of honor. The great: The food was awesome -- salad, meatballs, empanadas, egg rolls, pasta salad...the list goes on. They were ready on time for the party. The staff was incredibly accommodating. And again, the place is pristinely laid out and decorated for the event. The good: the music was just right, all about wedding, love, and marriage but at times a bit too loud to carry on a conversation. No worries, staff were happy to adjust as requested. Only the first floor is accessible, so folks in wheelchairs or who can't do stairs will have to stay on the first floor. Room for improvement: No contract was provided at the time of deposit. This would've been helpful because payment terms are non-standard (in my experience) with final payment due well in advance of the event.

The Fairless Hills Fire Department owns/operates this banquet hall and catering service for any…read moregroup that wishes to pay the rent for the space. The hall comfortably holds 300 guests, and has a stage for entertaining. It is a way for the department to raise funds through its women's auxiliary, and has been open since the middle of the last century. We were there for a political fundraiser for the incumbent county commissioner. Her campaign committee had booked five comedians for the evening, and served a taco buffet to keep us nourished. The grub was adequate, which is more than can be said for the majority of stand ups taking the stage. They were so bad that we were laughing about it. Only one or two had shining moments. Still, we weren't there for chuckles, but to support the woman who had served the county well over several terms in office. We trusted her to continue to do so. So, Westaby Hall although in need of a facelift and improvements in its audiovisual technology, did serve a useful purpose that night, and likely is what most civic group need for their get-togethers.

We had a Glow in the dark party which included a lot of set up. They gave us the opportunity to come in not only the day before, but the day of, earlier than the alloted time we had. We moved a good amount of furniture to fit our vision and they had no problem with it. The one woman (Sorry I forget your name) was so helpful to the point where when we couldn't figure out the sound system with our android ( yes I know) she came back to help. The place has an abundance of outlets which was great since we had a bunch of black lights. We had the 360° photo booth which we were allowed to rent for as long as we wanted. The woman who ran it was very kind and the kids loved it. We also had enough room for another photo booth. At the end of the night, the wonderful woman came back and helped us clean some and told us to just worry about the bigger things and to leave the smaller things for her and her team to clean. I've already recommended this place to another friend and I'd definitely give this company more business when I need to throw another party. Thank you so much for everything, my daughters, their friends and our family had a blast!

We love this venue. We used it for an event for our daughter. The hall is reasonably priced and…read morethey offer a full bar with bartender. The hall has been recently updated and they even have a caterer they offer. If you like you can bring your own food. We chose to use the in house catering. The only issues is the booking, you have to get there early on a Thursday to save the date. Luckily for us the date we wanted was open. All in all this is a great place with plenty of parking. The staff was also great. We will use again, solid 5 stars!
