They also have lots of activities and events which are very popular. I had driven past this spot many times and kept thinking I needed to stop and check it out and it only took me a few years to finally visit. My traveling companion and I decided to check it. FOOD IS CASH ONLY. The bar you can run a tab (minimum of $10 charge on your card.) Steak night is from 5-7 on Fridays. The place was entirely full at 5:30 when we arrived. The kitchen did an amazing job turning the food out. It was a very short wait. THE STEAK WAS DELICIOUS. I'm from the Midwest, so I am usually pretty picky about my steak. I would definitely go back again. We ended up meeting the owner and her husband of the catering company that recently took over the food for the Legion. They are the nicest people, felt like we had been friends for years.

Although we are local members, in our travels we have visited many Legions from North DAkota to South Florida. We love coming back home to visit everyone at our local American Legion. If you are a member, or are qualified to be a member, we strongly suggest stopping in, having a drink, get to know everyone and joining the legion. Filled out the request form 2 different times and was told a third time to come in and fill it out and it would be approved right then. Still no phone call and tonight when I called again... now the change of command has magically been scheduled at 1700, even tho earlier I was told it was a steak dinner at 1700 (I was told this at 1600 today (8 Jun) and then at 1955 I was told there is a change of command that has been planned. This is an odd way to treat a fellow vet and potential prospecting member. This is why organizations like this are dying all over the country.
