Everyone is sure to have a great time at Gallery Night with so many things to do for all ages. So many activities, live music, food trucks, local artists, etc. all down the street that's closed off for you to have a fun time. This event is dog friendly and if you're disabled, then it's also easily accessible so don't let anything keep you from checking out this event. Grab you a drink at one of the many bars lining the street and grab dinner at one of the many food trucks then stroll or dance your way to check out the many vendors because there's something for everyone. read more

I have been to quite a few gallery nights and the main draws are restaurants and bar party life. The number of artists and vendors set up is rather paltry. Something should be done to attract more vendors. Is it cost? Then lower it. Is it the wording on the website -To be considered for inclusion, that does sound somewhat snobby. Is it red tape? Every chance I get to go to Gallery Night, I'm there! The energy that you get from locals, businesses, and tourists is incredible! I feel at times people can have a bit too much to drink, but still giving this a 5-Star review because law enforcement is there to control the scene. read more

I recently attended my first Gallery Night. Would I go again? I definitely want to, since the night I went it was storming and I'd like to get the full experience during nice weather. Surprisingly, despite the weather people still came out in droves! I read a previous reviewer's writeup, basically saying that this used to be a more cultured and refined event and I kind of wish that were the case. My take on it is closer to the Yelp reviewer who said "think Mardi Gras." The night I went I saw a LOT of drinking and a lot of tipsy people walking around. I am glad that there is a police presence. I also recently heard that Gallery Nights are going to be discontinued come September. Better get in where you fit in before it all ends. read more

Our second gallery night but this time with our 6 year old. I recommend going early to avoid the party crowd as much as possible. The performers were a hit as was the booths and characters downtown. Be advised the drinks are served on the street for this wishing to partake. We also did a horse and carriage ride which was fantastic and very informative of the historic locations downtown Pensacola. Worth checking out once a month. read more

Great time. Wear comfortable shoes. Loved the fact that all of the art galleries were still open so that you could look at and buy various pieces of art. Almost all of the galleries had live music being provided by pretty talented artists. As the other reviewer said, think Mardi Gras without all the unsavory things. All of the local restaurants and bars participate and you have access to drinks every few feet. A few food trucks were out as well for those who do not mind eating and walking. Ample parking nearby. Oh how I miss the days of old. Just recently went back to Gallery Night after many years absent and was pretty disappointed. Gallery Night used to be about art and sophistication; finger sandwiches and a glass of wine at a gallery trying to sell it's product. Now it is debauchery, too much alcohol and pretty much a young persons street party. If that's what you're looking for ..... You found it. As for me, I won't go back. read more
