This place was a blast! We had 13 people in our group -- kids and adults -- and every single one of us had an amazing time. The nostalgic games and fun atmosphere kept everyone busy the entire time. This place is so killer! Large variety of pinball and arcade games, a huge selection of beer, and a really fun aesthetic. There is a whole group of Japanese games, and they're tremendously entrancing. The owners are super chill and very kind. Literally one machine was out of service - it's clear they take great pride in themselves. Here's what's best to me: the experience is geared towards gamers, not ticket chasers. It's $10 for an hour or $25 for the entire day. We got a day pass, played for 90 minutes, left for dinner, and then came back and played another 2 hours! If you grew up visiting Gulf Shores in the 80s/90s and remember the classic arcades, you need to visit Captain Crazy's Paradise in Foley near the outlets. It's family-owned and operated, and the staff were excellent. This place is perfect for killing time if you're dropping off family members at the outlets. You buy a wristband, and all the arcade games are set to free play. They offer options for all-day wristbands or a cheaper one-hour free play wristband. They also have Top Golf simulators available for an additional fee. There's a fantastic selection of pinball and arcade cabinets that my boys loved. The craft beer menu is great, with plenty of standard favorites, and the food menu is solid (I highly recommend the Korean corndog). I'm excited to add Captain Crazy's Paradise to my regular rotation when I visit the Gulf. Check it out for some genuine arcade fun! read more

If you want a REAL arcade then this the place to go. The people here aren't in it for the money but for the love of fun. Weather you want to race around the track on a aracde racing game or sitting in a bean bag chair playing some Mario kart with a cold one or playing dozens and dozens of rounds of pinball trying to get a high score this place has got you covered and then some. I hope and pray that more people stop caving in to fake corporation arcade chains like Dave and busters whoms sole goal is to steal money out your wallet and to see a real world with real games and real genuine fun. I cannot say enough good things about our experience $25/person for unlimited arcade play. There are new machines, old favorites, and console bays for PC gaming, Wii, etc. I don't think I had to wait for a single game. Everything worked, everything was clean, bathrooms were fun themed. The staff was so helpful and kind. They even let us leave for dinner and come back for more play. This is the most hidden gem in the area, if you ask me. We will be back! read more

Friendly and great for family fun! Lots of variety and the play all day price is well worth it. Leave the quarters at home! We decided to choose captain crazy's as a place to host our company christmas party and the owner was not welcoming at all! We catered food and he told us from the beginning it was okay to do so and then stated we couldnt have lemonade with our food, insist that we purchased drinks from the bar, but we were trying to support a small local business.
