It's open to the public for certain events throughout the year. We were here on St. Patrick's Day where a minuscule cover of $3 was charged. Beer prices were cheap and staff friendly. As you can imagine in St. Patrick's Day they were jam packed but the bartenders never lost their cool, never made you wait long and were nice. The crowd was crazy-fun and just a good time all around. The decor is older and lots of wood and kitschy stuff about including Kennedy family pics. Nice little gem in the city.

There was not a bad seat in the auditorium. You felt close to the ceremony and we were able to see well. The seats were comfortable. The elevators and bathrooms were dated. This is to be expected. The elevators were very compact. With a larger group there was some waiting. We had a cocktail on a different floor and with an older adult logistics were difficult. The room for the cocktail hour was spacious and well suited for the event. Parking was in a parking garage directly underneath the building. Again for someone with mobility issues it was a long walk. We enjoyed the ceremony and the history of the building. I would recommend taking a look even if you don't have an event taking place. The architecture alone is worth the visit.

They have made great…read morestrides to update the building to preserve this historic structure, and there are plans to enhance the outdoor space with an inviting new garden space. I've been here once for a huge Lindy Hop with live bands and dance floors, so I know they have the potential to host wonderful events. We were here for a CMU Philharmonic concert, and the acoustics were okay and the auditorium space was comfortable. It was unexpected to see the little museum gift shop, where one can buy mostly tee shirts and memorabilia.

412 is such a great organization!…read more I started volunteering about two months ago and pick up rescues when I can - have done about a handful so far! Took my sister on one and she asks when we are doing the next one. Knowing that food does not get thrown away but gets to folks who can truly use it is such a great feeling - my first rescue was a SUV full of food that would have otherwise ended up in a dumpster--- I was speechless. The app they use to is easy to use and both the folks you pick up from and deliver to have been so grateful!
