Definitely big enough for a large group of tables, but close enough to the stage that you never feel like you have a bad seat in the house. The menu includes themed drinks and a range of food choices which you can order prior to showtime. The staff is friendly and attentive to the tables through the first part of the show. The show itself was exciting and tongue in cheek at times. The Altar Boyz brought energy and comedy to the room and kept everyone engaged - even bringing up an audience member for one of the numbers! Since 2016 this non-profit group of folks has been bringing some delightful productions to the community with some very talented thespians, directors, production crews, and artists of all kinds to put on a variety of outstanding productions. My daughter has been in shows here and I had a distinct pleasure, on Father's day, of attending a most excellent production of "Harps and Harmonicas". She is currently looking to be in one or more productions here in the near future and I have been impressed with the people involved in this great little community theater both out front and behind the scenes. This season (202) has The Boys Next Door, The Mad Ones, Doubt: A Parable and Musical on tap so far this season. Bottom line: They need more parking so if you don't arrive early you might be pressed to seek it out on the surrounding streets, the theater isn't huge but it's quaint and there are some really talented folks here with a lot of heart. I suggest trying the street as the parking lot is a bit cramped at the moment, but a good thing to have. As for the name of the place, it is a fitting memorial to a young man that met a tragic end.

There's a little bit of everything here - stickers, jewelry, ceramics, glassworks, bath and beauty products, illustrations, photography, paintings, woodwork...that's all here, laid out in a way that makes it easy for you to browse through the art medium(s) you wish to explore. With hundreds of artists being displayed here, it's super easy to browse and see what local makers are up to. Previously Artsmiths operated out of Mt. Lebanon, so if the name sounds familiar, it's because they were in another neighborhood for over a decade. A big reason they moved to Carnegie was that they were growing to a point that they wanted a better space to host their classes. Yes, the Artsmiths of Pittsburgh is more than a storefront - they're also an art center. Their classes will introduce you to mosaics, embroidery, and more. (If that sounds interesting to you, their website is the best place to keep up with their in-person classes, workshops, and camps.) With the holidays rolling up on us yet again, this is a business you'll absolutely want to visit; you're practically guaranteed to find the perfect gift for someone/multiple someones. The artworks incorporate old, recycled, parts and pieces from pinball machines. I thought it was fascinating. I will say the pinball would be better if it was all-you-can-play for a certain price like it's console options. You can choose $8 per hour to play whatever console you want as well as other options or you can choose the arcade games, which pinball is included in that for $5 for 100 credits..... in hindsight that's really not a lot because the claw machines range from 30-40 credits and the pinball machines are 20 credits each. They also have gaming events on a huge screen which is cool! The staff is super friendly and very personable. When you can get tickets onsite, it really helps you save fees which are crazy these days. There are a few gates so pay attention when you walk in which gate you used so you can easily find your way out. They have escalators and elevators to get upstairs. When picking seats, it depends on what's important to you. If you just want to be there and hear it then any seats is ok. I personally just live to be there and hear the music or see the comedian. I'm also unwilling to spend a fortune to see performers and that's what concerts and comedians are becoming. They also have big screens so you can see what's going on. I've seen some good shows there.
