They have fantastic smart fast waitresses especially Wendy. Wendy is a phenomenal waitress/bartender. She remembers all her customers and knows what they drink and has it waiting for them before they sit down. If you're in town for a while you tell them your favorite beer if they don't have it they will go get it for you. However if you're hungry you have to eat what's on the severely limited menu because they don't have any thing else. There are a few condiments for burgers. No special cheeses no mushrooms no jalapeños. Also if you like bourbon you'll need to go somewhere else because they don't have bourbon Beyond Jim Beam. They don't have the ingredients to make any specialty cocktails beyond liquor and soda pop. No bloody Marys, and you can't come in the morning and have a Mimosa. The only wine is jug wine. No vermouth means no martinis available no Manhattan's available. It is extremely limited on food and beverage. if you are traveling member from out of town they will not be able to cater to your tastes if they differ from local tastes. They stock only what their regulars want and nothing absolutely nothing else. In spite of all that I still give them four stars because I know the place and I know to eat before I get there and if I want a special cocktail I drink that before I get there. But it's a great friendly crowd of people and you'll always be welcome. Wendy makes the whole experience good.

A week ago, @winecraft discovered yet another hidden gem--this time, a winery and cidery. The…read moregrounds are absolutely stunning, like something out of a Hallmark movie, nestled in Meadville. We sampled both wine and cider, and both were excellent. I even took home a white wine, which was spectacular. Although I usually prefer reds, I couldn't pass it up. I also grabbed a bottle of the Cayuga for our daughter, which was equally tremendous. While I was busy taking photos of the sign, I noticed a man watching me. I explained that I do this at every spirits location we visit. He introduced himself as Matt and kindly suggested I take pictures from the other side of the property for a better view--and he wasn't wrong. Later, when I got home and researched the place, I learned it had been a farm since 1910, originally owned by the Devenport family until 2017. It briefly passed to another owner before being taken over by the third owners, who I met without realizing at the time. I can't wait to revisit this incredible hidden gem!

A couple of staff were walking around, spraying and wiping down machines as players left them, and the floor also looked perfectly clean. Sounds good, right? WeIl, the place just... REEKED. We're not talking stale tobacco; it was more like someone had recently filled a trash can with the world's most acrid butts - cellophane included - and set them on fire. Poor ventilation doesn't even begin to explain it, because on the whole floor there were maybe 5 people actually smoking, and most of them were clustered in one corner. I'm a light smoker myself, but after an hour I was just about ready to cough my guts out. As for the slots: IMHO your odds of emptying a box of mice onto the floor and watching them die of seizures before they can scurry to safety are probably better than winning. High-volatility machines overpriced for their crappy payouts. Did far better playing the same games at Hamburg, and that is saying something. Two stars for the staff and their spray bottles, but you're spitting on the fires of hell. Don't want to think about what it's like on a busy night with bingo.
