Over priced, not clean, not enough staff to do what's needed. Half the machines are out of order.

If you are planning on playing in the arcade area, go ahead to the customer-service area and purchase a game card, you could also get it easy from the kiosk, as you will need this card to swipe and play. We love their claw-machine (which we found it to be so much easier to win than the one in Asia, rip), if you stay there long enough on a good day, you will find some people with a big bag full of stuffed animals they won. So your chance is pretty high on winning those for your loved ones (including yourself!) When you have won enough stuffed animals, take a break and come to the other section where there are plenty of arcade games, there are ones for the sport-lover, anime-lover and those who loves to dance. There are also bowling alley, and karaoke party room which we enjoy going once in a while. Food and drinks are not allowed in there as you will be checked by the security when entered. Though, there is a little food bar that offer quick bites as well as pizza, ice cream and alcohols. Before you leave, go check out the photo booth, I recommend the Japanese ones, since you can decorate it how you like before printing it. Always have so much fun coming here, will be back again soon.

Whether it's for a private screening of your favorite movies, hosting a birthday party, or even a…read more DEATH METAL SHOW, the Erie Movie House can't be beat. Craig and Nicole are very accommodating to any needs you may have, and they have a full snack bar as well as offer free popcorn (and they have every flavor shaker you could think of, and many I'm sure you've never seen). The smaller 30-person theatre area is perfect for a more intimate event like the debut of a locally made movie, or an acoustic performance. The seats are VERY comfortable and I'm almost ashamed to admit having to fight to stay awake more than once due to overcomfort hahaha. They also offer VR Gameplay on their top-of-the-line gaming laptop, and bolster an impressive inventory of games. Other than the VR and the theatre area, Erie Movie House also has an air hockey table, loads of arcade cabinets, many of which have TONS of game choices, an area where they have a super comfy couch, and an NES, SNES, SEGA, ATARI, and more; all with cartridge ROMs of every existing title. They made wall art with the cable management going from the consoles to the very large flat display tv, and even have a working (free) payphone! Classic malt-shop style jukebox for some tunes, fun gimmicky Addams Family electric grip thing which makes your hands all tingly... but my favorite thing is PINBALL. Not only do they have several classic pinball machines, they have a DIGITAL pinball machine that has literally almost EVERY pinball machine ever made on its hard drive. And you might be thinking that it wouldn't match up to the real thing, but it is SLICK. They pretty much have to pry me off of it every time I'm there. We hosted my daughters 13th birthday party there, and it was very reasonably priced, and Craig and Nicole actually even opened an hour earlier for us (due to my mixup: I scheduled 6pm and the invites said 5). Would definitely host another party there, the kids had a blast and I did too! I have also hosted metal concerts with them, and they're wonderful with promotion, and always make sure that each band is paid for their performances. Top notch people own and operate this place. And if your event is 21+ there is even a liquor store next door! Highly Reccomend, obviously.

I'm not sure why this place has so much hate in the reviews. I've been here several times with my…read morefamily and we have always had a positive experience. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because of minor things (like not including towels with admission). First, your best bet is to book through a hotel deal or find a discount some other way. On our most recent visit, we purchased a package that included a hotel night, four water park admissions, a $50 arcade voucher and a $25 restaurant gift certificate for around $175. If we purchased admission just to the water park that would have been more than that on its own! There are two things that we found frustrating. One is that even though it was a weekend and there were a lot of people, one whole section of slides was closed until much later in the day. One person said it was because the attendance wasn't high enough (which didn't seem true because there were lines at all of the slides because of how busy it was). Another said it was because of staffing issues which I am more inclined to believe. I am happy they eventually opened the second area of slides, but if it never opened, it would have kept several of the more high adventure slides out of commission. The other complaint is that for the price, they don't include towels. Sure, it is easy to bring your own from home, but most other water parks the towels are included. I was glad someone had mentioned this to us the first time we visited. There is plenty to do for the whole family. There are a variety of slides with varying degrees of excitement and a good combination of both body and raft slides (which you can ride with either one or two people). Rafts were always available and when all the slides were open, wait times weren't that bad. The staff and lifeguards were all courteous and helpful. The lazy river is really tiny, but with all of the other attractions, it isn't that big a deal that it is smaller. One other down side is that no outside food or drinks are allowed (which is pretty typical of this type of attraction) but their food is pricey for what you get. Overall, a really fun way to spend time as a family with a great location right off 90.

Fun waterpark for all ages, my favorite was the adult only hot tub that is tucked off in the corner, quiet and very relaxing. Enjoyed the lazy river too. The kids really had a blast, they do have a kid friendly hot tub, slides, pools, shooting water and really like the overhead buckets that fill and dump. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. Place was clean and has ample restrooms and large changing area. There are lockers to rent if you need to store your belongings.

If you're looking for a quiet afternoon of 10-pin and bonding with your grandmother, GreenGarden…read moreBowling Lanes is... an experience. I didn't just get a workout; I got a front-row seat to the lore of the "King of the Gutter." The Encounter While helping my nan pick out a 6lb ball, I was cornered by a man who can only be described as "aerodynamically round." This local legend spent twenty minutes explaining that he once bowled a perfect 300, but alas, "cameras weren't invented back then" (or some such logic), so I'd just have to take his word for it. He informed me that he's the best bowler in town and runs a tavern, which I assume is where he practices his other hobby: telling tall tales. The "Unc" Factor The wildest part? He's apparently a local celebrity. Every five minutes, a group of teenagers would walk up, call him "Unc," and dab him up like he'd just signed a multi-million dollar contract. I don't know if he's actually their uncle or if he just dispenses questionable wisdom in exchange for respect, but the "Unc" energy was off the charts. The Great Betrayal The vibe turned sour when I accidentally got into a groove. I rolled three strikes in a row (pure luck, honestly), and "Unc" lost it. He couldn't handle the competition. He went straight to the owner and claimed I was using illegal bumpers. The owner--who apparently values Unc's tavern stories over physics--actually kicked me and my grandmother out! Apparently, at GreenGarden, talent is a bannable offense if it hurts the local legend's feelings. The Grand Finale As we were being escorted out, Unc pointed to the sleek black Mustang parked right in front of the doors. "That's my ride," he bragged, adjusting his belt. "Built for speed." It was a beautiful car, truly. It's just a shame that "speed" wasn't happening today because the front wheel had a massive yellow boot on it. I guess even the "best bowler in town" can't strike his way out of unpaid parking tickets. Summary: Go for the bowling, stay for the delusions of grandeur, but leave your skills at home if you don't want to be framed for "Bumper Fraud." Pros The Entertainment Value: You get a professional-grade comedy show for the price of a shoe rental. Watching a man claim a Mustang with a boot on it is peak cinema. Nan's Workout: My grandmother got some great cardio in while we were being chased out by the "Bumper Police." The Social Scene: If you're looking to get "dabbed up" and integrated into the local "Unc" hierarchy, this is the place to be. Easy Parking: Well, easy for some. There's always at least one black Mustang taking up a prime spot indefinitely. Cons The "Unc" Tax: If you bowl better than a turkey, expect to be reported to management for "technological interference." Strict Bumper Policy: Apparently, having a high skill ceiling is considered a "cheat code" by the local tavern owner. Management Bias: The owner seems to believe the word of a man who hasn't seen a 300-game since the Triassic period over the literal laws of physics. Short Visit: Don't get too attached to your lane; if you hit three strikes, your night is effectively over.
