I called and emailed several plumbers for quotes which were ridiculously high for such a simple job. Literally pulling one off and putting another on. Connected with PlumbRight via my home warranty service. I will applaud them for responsiveness as…read morethey were in touch right away and visited shortly thereafter. Our issue was simple and they didn't try to over complicate and tack on a bunch of useless repairs. To date, their minor tweaks to a finicky sink faucet have held up and would probably call them again in a pinch.

Where do I begin?…read more Scheduling with them is a nightmare. Get used to them telling you the earliest appointment they have available is a week away. Then when you do manage to get an appointment, there's no telling just how many hours the plumber will be late. Better hope you don't have any burst or leaking pipes (like we had) because you'll be stuck with them for a very long time. Invest in buckets, I guess. Then they show up - no masks, no notice about vaccination status, no little plastic booties over their work boots. I know it sounds petty, but when it's raining outside I'd rather you didn't track mud over our floor. I'd rather not expose my nine-month-old baby to a deadly global pandemic. They don't even greet you and wait to be invited in - they literally just barged into our house each time. We initially brought them in to just fix the kitchen sink drain, which was completely blocked. After cutting holes in walls and ceilings, replacing multiple pipes, and a lot of banging around for three weeks, we have nothing. No diagnosis, no plan. How does a plumber not know how to fix a kitchen sink drain? Let me be clear - do not ever hire this company.

We weren't sure if it was coming from behind the tile wall or if it was just the faucet stems but another plumbing company came out yesterday and charged $99 just to tell us that we would have to hire a tile demo person to tear out the tile wall to the tune of $800 before they could even start to repair it. SMH But today Jason with Maeser was at our house within 30 minutes of our call and done with all repairs within the hour! And Maesers cost was less than half of the other company's quote! Not only that Jason was the most respectful kind man and he was obviously very knowledgeable. And he saved us from having to go to a hotel room tonight because we had no water. Jason graciously came in and treated my husband and I with respect and assured us he would take care of everything for us. He put our minds at rest which meant the world to us, especially being seniors. He definitely went above and beyond! Next up we are getting a bathroom remodel done and Maeser will be doing it of course! They even do garage doors! Please don't waste your time calling anyone else. Call MAESER and you will have a company for life that does it all and will save you money! Lisa Lewis

Your Second Opinion Plumbing just finished their work today, and we could not be happier with it…read more Despite what ended up being a bigger job than originally thought, YSOP made the process smooth, with great communication throughout. I reached out to them last week after water started falling from the upstairs bathroom into the first floor bathroom of the duplex we own. I sent them a message via Yelp and their office responded within the hour, allowing me to pick the time when they would come out the following day. And from there we were rolling. During the initial visit, Cody deduced that there was likely a problem with the flange and wax ring in the upstairs toilet. When they came back the next work day to do the work, we ended up having to get into the walls, where it was easy to see that the 100+-year-old cast iron pipes, original to the home, were actually rusting, with very noticeable cracks in them, leaking water throughout. Over the next day and a half, YSOP replaced ye olde pipes, patched another leak, replaced the flanges on both toilets in the building and moved the plumbing for the basement washing machines, since they already had to work in that vicinity anyway. This was a big job, that didn't come cheap, but they were upfront with all costs and kept to their quote. I also appreciated that they called to give me a 20-minute warning before they showed up each time. Through and through, YSOP was easy to work with, respectful of me and my property and thorough communicated. I will definitely use them again!

I was quoted 3-400 dollars for a valve replacement only to get a call back two hours later that they can't find the valve anywhere for a Pfister product less than 10 years old, so it needs to be fully replaced. The full replacement was 850 dollars and they installed a chrome finish that matches none of the other finishes in the bathroom and was probably 100 bucks. 3 hours of labor and 100 dollar part (with an access panel!) = 850 dollars and a messy silicone job as a keepsake. Furthermore I requested a quote for a replacement water heater to be told that both (it's a duplex) needed to be replaced. My tenant came back to completely cold water so clearly no final inspection was done to ensure it was fixed after work was completed. After I called to complain and was given reasons for why that's not their fault/problem I was reminded that it's probably because the water heater is old and has nothing to do with them... hmmm how convenient. If I could have left 0 stars I would have.
