Only antena, no cable etc. The room was a hot tub room with lake view 250.00, very old carpet , drop ceiling, and what they called a hot tub was a jacuzzi tub with six Jets. Very Old. No coffee pot, no frig no microwave and you can not buy a pop and there is no ice. Dinner was included and dinner was fish sticks, what looked like boiled chicken in a red sauce and what they called meat loaf with instant potatoes, canned gravey, canned green beans and canned corn with dried out dinner rolls. We tried to eat it was so bad we went back to our room picked up our luggage and left. I'm sorry this was place is not worth even 10 min of your time.

The Harrington Inn is a charming one-story hotel in Fremont, MI and I truly enjoyed my stay…read more The hotel had fantastic service in both the hotel and restaurant. At the check-in desk, the receptionist provided a token for a free appetizer from the on-site restaurant, and there was a basket of complimentary cookies for guests! My room seemed more renovated than the photos of the hotel rooms online, which was a pleasant surprise, and was extremely comfortable. The TV had the option to cast from your personal device, so you are able to stream Netflix/YouTube from the big screen! I had no issues with the wifi during my stay. There was also a black-out blind which helped since the sun does set until after 9pm here! The location was also extremely convenient located on Main St - walking distance to downtown (1 mile), and just a short drive to Fremont Lake Park. The restaurant is open weekdays starting at 4pm, and has weekly specials. You can choose to eat at a table in the restaurant, or order to-go and have your meal delivered straight to your room. The continental breakfast buffet runs from 6-9am and is stocked with fresh fruit, an array of bagels/english muffins, and even an automatic pancake machine!

Check in was a breeze, and staffer even showed us to our site. Bathrooms and shower buildings are cleaned regularly. My full hookup site was great. Heads up: Most of not all roads are dirt, and they can be muddy and puddly after a rain. And none of the sites I saw had paved pads for your RV. It can be a chore to keep the dirt and mud out of your rig, but that's camping. What's cool?--the standalone outhouses have flush toilets with running water, and many of the rental cabins seemed to be wheelchair accessible.

If you have adult children who camp with you, this seems like a money grab and gets expensive very quickly. Lastly, they are very rude about checking out. We were told that we had to be out by 12 noon, which was fine, but at 12:05 PM, they came around in a golf cart demanding that we exit the site even though we were only approximately 4 feet over the line for a site that we had reserved an extended. stay. They saw that we were packing up and even though no one was occupying the site, they kept badgering us about leaving. Perhaps a bit more tact when approaching customers would've been appreciated.

I definitely want to be back next year. Just one small thing to keep in mind: as a T mobile user, all of us don't have any cell service. The only place they have wifi is the Cove, so we took turn to spend a short time there to use wifi to keep in touch with family at home. We are okay with no wifi but it is a bit difficult with no cell service.

There is almost always relaxing music playing in the background while you're there. Not into that? Then try the super relaxing jacuzzi or ignite the fire in the fire pit (not the best description) and relax by the fire. But the best part about staying at the Hart House is Patrice's cooking!!! Oh My Gosh! The breakfasts we received each of our three mornings there were just so indescribably delicious! Patrice is extremely cognizant of her guests likes, dislikes, allergies, etc. We enjoyed sausage, egg and cheese sliders; fresh berries; breakfast banana splits; poached eggs with english muffin bread toasted; fresh homemade cinnamon rolls; baked apples; and a basil pesto omelet with ham, potatoes, tomatoes and english muffin toast. We did not have to stop for lunch any day after our breakfast! Would we go back? In a heartbeat! We had a wonderful time!!
