We were able to get an appointment quickly, he enjoyed the practitioner that he saw and billing worked out as if we were closer to home, where I am sure that we would have needed to wait a month to be seen.

I had thought that Penn State Health accepted Medicare for full payment for services at this clinic. Wrong. I went to a Podiatrist to have my toe nails cut and requested Topical medication to cure toe nail fungus. The Doctor was great and addressed my medical needs. She spent about 20 minutes with me and had a prescription called in to my Pharmacy. Several Weeks later I get a bill for $359 for her services. Medicare covered $244 and I got a bill for $114.00. I went to their office and asked if I could get installment payments. I am living on Social Security. They told me to contact their Hershey office about payments. The woman that took my call at Hershey said that if the amount is under $200 they don't ACCEPT installment payments. She sent me some forms to fill out requesting to have my balance written off by Penn State. The forms they sent me were ridiculous. They wanted me to mail them copies of my last 4 bank statements in addition to another bunch of BS. NO way i would do that instead of just sending them installment payments. My account numbers is none of their business. As far as I know, they MUST accept installment payments by law. So guess how much they are getting? Anything Penn State is a RIP OFF. From their tuition to parking, to anything Penn State, RIP OFF. Find a different Podiatrist and save yourself a headache. Penn State Health is for rich people.

I studied molecular microbiology and immunology at Johns Hopkins and have a PhD in molecular…read morebiology, and I can say that Dr Donelan is the MOST unprofessional, unethical and incompetent physician that I have EVER encountered, and you should avoid seeing him AT ALL COSTS. He will completely disregard your needs and treat you in the antiquated methods harkening back to outdated medical knowledge of the 1990s, which is when his training took place. I have polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and I have been following a drug called tolvaptan, which has demonstrated - through clinical trials - to slow the progression of kidney enlargement and functional decline in PKD patients. It works simply by blocking the vasopressin V2 receptor, which helps reduce cyst growth and fluid secretion in the kidneys. You would think that a medical doctor could interpret this data, and stick to the prescribing guidelines laid out by the FDA, but this proved impossible for Donelan. His office was incapable of scheduling my required blood work at Quest - with me showing up and waiting an hour at Quest, only to be sent away with NO BLOOD WORK - and they blamed ME, claiming that I refused to comply with the FDAs orders. I had spent months titrating the dose up, but he took me off the drug and refused to see me. So if you don't want ANY control over your health, and want to be treated like an idiot or even a deviant, then Donelan is your man. A lot of doctors are like this because they assume that their years of training makes them infallible and omnipotent, when the reality is you'd be better off with a Google search and a 6-pack.
