Today totally different story. 10 min into massage, someone walked in. I said "hello?" No answer. I said "who just walked into the room?" I heard "I'm here to observe the student." I told her I was uncomfortable with that. She didn't care, "it's a school." So why didn't it happen last time???? She was so rude. I told her I want to stop the massage. I was very uncomfortable with being observed while naked. So I give the woman $5 just for her troubles and ask for a refund of $35. "The credit card machine is password protected. You'll have to call the owner." So I call Dr Zhou. Super rude. "No way. No discounts." Even after I explained this didn't happen before. He absolutely didn't care. Wasn't easy at all to communicate with. NEVER GO HERE.

This place fits the bill. They are a massage school just off Odana Rd. As such, know that you'll be having a student perform the massage. When I call to make an appointment, I ask where the students are at in the program. If they are in the last 2 months of it, then they've generally been really good. Because it is a school, it's not the most spa-like or relaxing of place, but it's not bad either. During your massage at some point a teacher will pop in to check in on how things are going and to observe the massage for a few moments. Recently I pulled a muscle in my glute and had some ridiculously tight hamstrings that were causing a lot of lower back pain. I talked about this with the gal doing my massage beforehand and she was able to focus on those areas and loosen them. up. After the first massage, my left side felt completely better, but my right side was still painful (it was crazy tight). I booked another massage with the same gal a few days later and she was able to loosen everything up enough that I finally felt pain relief. When the instructor came in the room, she was able to demonstrate some additional moves to help with my specific issues. I've been to other massage places where I've asked them to focus on one area, but they still do the whole body thing, like they are set in a routine and can't adjust it to accommodate your specific needs. I've not had that issue at this school. Sometimes scheduling can be a bit off because the whole school is closed for the week. They do have evening hours though which is nice. No water offered after the massage, which I'm used to from other places, so keep a bottle in the car ready for afterwards. If you are looking for a fancy spa day experience, this may not be the place for you. If you are looking to get some kinks worked out at an affordable price, then call them and make an appointment.

Because my husband had gotten hired in Wisconsin, we were back to square one finding agencies and getting our home study done. We had spent months calling various agencies just to find roadblocks - agencies not taking new clients, agencies with lotteries for clients, delays and stalled starts. Thank goodness a friend referred me to a local woman who had success adopting through Adoptions of Wisconsin. They were located hours away, but she said they were worth it. Their staff was dedicated and efficient. We were delighted we chose them to be our agency, and Claire became our case worker. She was amazing - knowledgable, honest, and helpful. With Claire and Adoptions of Wisconsin, I made our adoption process my job. Every day I hammered out paperwork, on-line trainings, and the other steps to the certification process. We were delighted that we (working with the AOW team) were able to expeditiously got our on-line training hours and home study done in just a couple months - quite a feat. After our home study completion, we worked with an adoption consultant, and were able to place with a couple for an interstate adoption. In about six months, we were able to bring our beautiful baby boy home. The Adoptions of Wisconsin agency made our post-placement home visits as painless as possible. Five months after our son's birth, we were able to finalize our adoption. It was about a year from start to finish. We know many couples that wait for years. I know that working with Claire at AOW shaved years off of our wait. If you are looking for an agency that is honest and hardworking, I highly recommend Adoptions of Wisconsin. They are worth driving almost five hours (on Wisconsin snowy roads) for.

About 4 years ago I took my dog to this clinic to be neutered - he is a rescue and this was the…read moreclinic the rescue company suggested. Recently my dog has had some bloodwork issues - my vet asked if they could see the bloodwork from his neutering appt. to see if maybe the bloodwork is just normal for him(dog) however when I called Underdog to get the bloodwork they said they didn't do any-because we(dogs owners) didn't request it. This is something that should always be done and I am guessing the rescue place didn't want to pay for that therefore not important. My dogs life is important to me so If you take your dog or cat or whatever pet to this clinic - make sure you are asking the right questions - I personally wouldn't go here again. That test is to help find anything that might cause a problem during the operation. I would find another clinic.
