We met Mendy in the office, where she helped me and my husband find granite that we both liked. We had been sure that one of us would have to settle to make the other happy. She cheerfully spent plenty of time explaining, listening, showing, and just friendly chatting. Robbie came out on Tuesday to measure, and on Thursday to install. My cabinets were quite out of level, so the job took longer than it should have. He did not complain or change the price because he had to come a 2nd day to finish the job. He was only at our house a couple of hours each day. My countertops look great. My husband and I are both very pleased with the outcome. Wish I could post pictures.

American Hearth & Door was recommended by a customer, so I called the office and spoke with Liz who was super sweet. Liz had Jason Gonzalez give me a call about servicing our 4 warehouse doors. Technician came by, found no issues, greased everything and gave us a bill for $100. This weekend was cold and we began to have problems again. This morning I called Auburn Door. Their technician, by the name of Chance, arrived at 3pm. Of course, by then the weather had warmed up, and the door opened relatively easily. But Chance knew what he was doing. He looked at the door go up and I assume he saw no issues with the tracks, so he got a ladder and checked the motor. Lo and behold, the motor was set on its lowest power setting for raising the door!!! I felt stupid for not having checked that out myself since I had the manual. In any case, Chance increased the setting to five and even when he put some pressure against the door rising, it still came up. Problem solved. Thank you Chance and Auburn Door. Oh, and he charged me only $75 compared to $100 by Overhead Door.

The coordinator I spoke with (name was RJ Arnold- I believe) was unbelievably hateful and derogatory over the phone. I called to inquire about cost to extend the unit a week or two weeks. He was belittling in conversation and refused to give me the extended price until I physically walked out to describe what size unit I had, etc. I have never experienced customer service this bad in my 50 plus years and in no way can I explain how bad this experience was. I even tried to calm the discussion down a few times by reminding him I was the customer and only trying to do business with them. I can't express how shocked I am at how rude this person was to me (the customer). I will add that I have never before felt obligated to write reviews in general especially a negative one. I plan to visit their office as well and plan to request a meeting with Jeff Davis, CEO. If this guy coordinates all dumpsters and port-o-johns for them, find another company!
