The trick is when you start hating everyone and everything that comes through the door that your servicing, it's time to quit and find another job. I'm not gonna call out the worker here. The truth is is once I served up kindness and compassion and patience at the cash register, the atmosphere of the service starting to change. Went in to help my friend's daughter pick out a birthday present for her 14-year-old friend. We made our way around the entire store and felt comfortable and enjoyed looking at items and picking them up and trying to figure out what would make a good gift. Settled on some new fancy I am an old person don't understand it/scrunchie thing and a cup that look like a strawberry with plastic leaves. Great selection cute store, and very clean. My last word on this is this area is a little uptight and I don't know if you have to walk in like pretty woman at the end of the movie but a lot of the stores are suffering in the customer service department.

They know their products and sizes and will help you find what you need. Selection is excellent and every item I have purchased is well made. This store was recommended to me by a friend. I usually go to Rigby and Peller and know my sizing…read morethere. When you are sized at Rigby and Peller you are given your size and why. They explain to you how each part is the bra should fit and why. I was fitted at a 32E and my breasts looked great in my clothes and in my bras. However, they are around $130-$230 a bra, which is why I agreed to try Soma. When I went to Soma, everyone was pretty friendly upfront. They put this sports bra looking device on me and let it tell me what bra size I should be. The device said 36C. I would love to be a C since it is way less expensive but it is just not the case. Companies will go higher around the waist so they can go lower in the cup but you will not get that perfect fit. The person sizing me said ok let's try a 34DD. My experience at Rigby and Peller gave me enough knowledge to see that the band was too high bc it was too large around, which makes your chest sag and breasts not sit properly in the cup. There was also a gap at the top of the cup bc it was not laying flush on my chest, also an indication the bra was not fitting properly. The clerk was happy to sell me the wrong size even though she knew it didn't for correctly. I explained to her why I didn't think the bra fit correctly and she said, "yeah, I noticed that". So why didn't she say anything? She knew what sizes she had in the store and wanted to make the sell more than she wanted me to have a proper fitting bra. I highly recommend going to the higher end store, get sized, bite the bullet and pay the high amount. Then use that size to shop elsewhere for a future bra. Different bra brands you will need a different size but get the knowledge of how a bra is supposed to fit and you will have a great starting place. Once the staff knew I was purchasing the bras there, they immediately switched from super nice to almost annoyed that I was still there. I won't shop there again.

That seemed so inconvenient to me because i usually buy a LOT of pairs of shoes when i do go shoe shopping here. But I must say, the staff were more than happy to assist me with my pairs. I can remember Nates name and there was a young lady with a beautiful name that started with an A, that I can't remember. They made my shopping experience five star. At the register, I was a bit of a pain trying to figure out the sale amounts and ALL of the staff, to include the manager on duty were more than patient, helpful and kind. The buy one get one 50% off sale made me able to get six pairs of really nice footwear for what I would normally pay for one pair. It was a lovely experience and not for nothing, some footwear brands actually still make shoes in real quality leather. I'm old school. Pleather is cute and environmentally conscious but it does hold up. At any rate - happy shopping experience indeed and much needed.

Also, they also have a line of subtle scents that have caught my eye (nose), liks Cypress & Cedarwood, Endless Sea, and Chasing Fireflies. Whew! Something that I feel qualified to answer! I've been a plus-sized girl for my entire 42…read moreyears. As a young girl, I suffered through Sears' "Lemon Frog" department (the girl equivalent of the Toughskins Husky horror). I remember a time when you couldn't walk into a regular retail store and find clothing larger than a 14, or shoes larger than a 9. Luckily, that time has past. I would be hard-pressed to recommend any store more highly than I would recommend Lane Bryant. In my opinion, it's one of the finest stores for plus-sized women's clothing. I used to run store to store, outlet to outlet, and find a quality piece here or there, but once I discovered Lane Bryant, I was able to build a nice wardrobe without scouring the countryside. Years ago, I wised up and stopped buying custom intimate wear and began wearing Lane Bryant's brand, Cacique. It's much cheaper, much higher quality, and way prettier than the things I used to pay a fortune for and just tolerate. Plus, the Lane Bryant sales associates are trained to custom fit you. For free. Hard to beat that combination. Also, their jewelry and shoe selection is plus-sized (another rarity). I have a beautiful collection of bangles, bracelets, etc. that fit me. Their necklaces are just a smidgen longer than regular, so they hit just the right place. Even their socks and hosiery are made for "us". I have always been able to find casual wear and business attire all under one roof, which is a real pleasure. Big bonus: their sales are often, plentiful, and generous. The stores aren't in every mall, but there are enough of them around Atlanta to make it easy to shop with them. Online is a great option, too, as is their outlet store up near Dalton, GA. Even though I haven't shopped there in awhile (I had gastric bypass surgery, and I am slowly divesting myself of my much-loved Lane Bryant wardrobe), I will always love that store. Not just because they carried things in my size, but moreso because I always felt good shopping there.
