We stayed downstairs over my the shoes. They had alot of the Adidases and Nikes out and they look really nice, but alot of the other brands were kept in their warehouse and you must use the kiosk to request them to be brought out to try on. Once he did that I thought it would take awhile for them to go get them and hand them over, but it was maybe 5 mins or so and they were very polite about it. He tried two pair on and chose the pair that closely matched his uniform. He gave the other pair back and we took the other to the cashier, nothing to note about purchasing them, just fast and polite. Seems fine to me.

December 19, 2020…read more The staff here were super friendly. They noted that the Baymeadows store had the items I was looking for and as I had 20 minutes, I could still make it there before they closed. Phew I am glad I did. This store does not carry Lululemon because there is one in this mall. However, the Baymeadows store can and does carry Lululemon. My visit lasted no more than a few minutes and it did not lead to any purchases. The staff were fantastic though.

We came to Academy to look for some sneakers for my husband and to get out of the house. I haven't…read morebeen to Academy in awhile, so was looking forward to looking around. When you walked inside the store, in the lobby they had gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfect available for customers to use. The store is pretty large, lots of items, everything from workout equipment like machines, weights, boxing equipment. They also have a ton of sporting equipment like bats, balls, gloves, etc. While we were walking around our little had his eye on a bike, so we headed over to the bikes to check them out. He was able to test out a bunch of bikes, which was nice (wide open aisles). We headed over to the shoes. I have to say, their shoe prices seemed pretty high, but that could be because I purchase most of my athletic shoes from outlets. We also checked out their grills (large selection). We didn't wind up buying anything, but did a ton of browsing. Pros: -Large store -Taking COVID precautions -Variety of items Cons: -Shoe prices seemed high Tips: If you're not in a rush, take some time to browse.

They asked me what the name of the gun was and i kindly was pulling it up on my phone and denied my purchase for not knowing the full name of the gun i knew it was a 9mm but wanted to make sure i got the name correct and still got denied. He was also very rude i asked how i could gift a gun eventually legally once i didn't need it anymore since in a a year or two im off to the military and was super disrespectful i definitely encourage everyone reading this to go somewhere else. Micheal is a horrible manager and i definitely will be reporting him. I have bought many guns from other stores before but this definitely tops the worst experience i have ever had when purchasing a gun.

On their end, it shows the specific shirt not being shipped. I asked about this and they said it's on back order by they should have it by the end of July and as soon as they get it, it would take a couple of days to make and be shipped. I call back on July 30th. I was told that they were showing to be received the following week. When they get them, they will put the print on them and ship them out. I wait until today and call. The lady I spoke with says they are still on back order and doesn't know why someone said they were getting them 2 weeks ago. If something is on backorder this long, why offer it as an option?? Just a thought. Now the team is left without the shirt they were all going to wear under their pads for football. Thanks Baker.

If you want players to leave a good team, make them order their uniforms from Bakers!…read more Two years in a row uniforms were shipped way after the agreed timeline. They will tell you "up to 6 weeks from when the online store closes" but plan on at least 8-10 weeks. This year, our uniforms are still not here after 7 weeks, and now Bakers says they will ship "in another few weeks." They said that two weeks ago already. Once (if) you finally get the uniforms, they are very low quality and way overpriced. Last year, the uniforms arrived with multiple defects and Bakers refused to fix it until I drove down there and showed them how bad it was. Even then, they replaced one item and promised to ship the others, but they never did. Their customer service and sales reps will make excuses and even lie. Do not order team uniforms from Bakers!

I cannot begin to describe how exceptionally helpful she was, taking her time to ensure that I found the right shoe for the walking that I do. After asking open ended questions about my activity (which is just walking up to 7 miles at a stretch) she was able to ascertain what was the best shoe for me. After measuring my feet she found the perfect shoe and was most helpful in changing out the laces for once I do not have to lace (yes I am lazy what can I say). Management of 1st Place Sports really needs to commend Crystal for how she makes the customer feel that they are the most important one that she's ever had to work with. Crystal is a role model for what customer service should be!!!!

Let's be real! Why the 2-star rating on Dick's Sporting Goods? Well, I took a look at the reviews…read morethat go up to 8 years back and do hope Dick's has fixed any apparent issues that may or may not have arisen in the past. I got to take a good look around at what DSG offers on my visit. I will say, from what I see, it's a pretty good full service sports venue when it comes to the popular sports of today, indoor and outdoor. It's good for team gear, jersey's hats etc. for mostly FL teams like the Jags, FSU, UF, UGA - I even thought about getting a new Jags ball cap for myself! It was the perfect style I like. But I wanted to purchase it at LIDS and then to my surprise, I discovered there no more LIDS at Town Center!! Overall, I really was impressed in just about all sections of Dick's with the size of these areas, how well organized they were, and what they offered. The golf and outdoors section (fishing, biking, camping, etc.) was really impressive! There also is no shortage on sports wear, whether for the gym or going casual. Dick's Sporting Goods is worth your visit to Town Center if you want to pick up anything for your hobby or sport you participate in - or for just plain old workouts in the gym. Just know, like other sports outlets, hobbies these days are pricey! And Dick's prices sail in the range of the other large sports outlets in the area as well. It's always good to look for deals when you can find them in a place like Dicks - I'd keep an eye out for the holidays! For now, I think Dicks deserves its 4 stars and it's a place I'll surely visit again. Recommend: HIGH

Then said I could just order another... why didn't they do that in the first place? The bikes were out of stock... that's why. Ruined the last good one. Now I'm forced to get it shipped in from warehouse for $35 more dollars and they said they won't wave the fee? Like why do I have to pay $35 on top cause yall broke/had a faulty bike? How is that on the customer? How wouldn't that fee be waved. Literally forced to get one in my road trip so I don't have to pay the shipping for a bike that said it was READY FOR PICK UP! How is it "ready for pick up." Then canceled after? Doesn't even make sense. If it was broken out of the box, why would have ever said ready for pick up?

Though I didn't get a chance to look at nearly everything in the store, I think the prices were pretty fair and reasonable over all from what I did see. They have an abundance of men's and women's sports clothing selections from all the famous name brands (Nike, adidas, UA, and so much more)! I was impressed with their camping and fishing area, along with the shooting and archery section. On the other end from this section, Academy sports offers a large area of personal fitness machines, bikes, and other gear and accessories to help people keep in shape. The store itself is well managed, clean and impressively organized for a facility so large that offers so much! I got what I needed on this day. The service provided to me was pretty stellar overall. Undoubtably I'll be back! Hobbies help keep the sports store machine running! And with the decent (and sometimes excellent) prices on various sports items, it's pretty clear why Academy Sports is so popular in JAX! Take a visit here! And if you need a YETI mug, this is the place to get the best ones! After all, nothing beats having our favorite coffee from the best coffee mug company in the business! I know I'll be adding to my collection! LOL Recommend: HIGH!
