I have been driving for decades but stopped 3 years ago when I suffered a heart attack at my job. Forced to retire from working altogether, I was so overwhelmed by my medical circumstances and the fear of another heart attack, I stopped driving. This was not good for my confidence and independence, but I was too consumed with worry about my health to think about driving.
