Absolutely fantastic business, superb staff...seriously just amazing!…read more I wholeheartedly believe in businesses like this that teach drivers the fundamentals of driving and can teach you even when you don't own a car though it might be a bit more expensive not owning a car since you'll need more lessons but I used a driving school in NYC 35+ years ago and have since believed this to be an essential business for anyone that truly wants to ace their driving course. I purchased a lessons package for my daughter to make sure that her driving skills were polished and that I didn't totally teach her incorrectly. She certainly picked up a lot of pointers that I otherwise would not have realized to point out which is another reason I think this business is essential for anyone looking to ace their road test. These driving professionals know exactly what to look for on the road exams and can give you very useful tips to help you avoid failure. Scheduling was a breeze, ALL the staff I dealt with were super nice and just plain awesome! I'm very thankful to all the staff that run this school for their kindness, patience and professionalism.

In comparison to other schools I've seen during test day Atlantic Coast keeps their trucks very clean and in much better shape than other schools and appear to have a much higher passing rate then other schools. Having to retake your road test can cost a student $500+ and I wasn't chancing it. Many thanks to Richard and Mauro who guide and explain everything in great detail making it effortless to complete a proper pre-trip, parallel park your tractor trailer (which I was dreading) and avoiding those Newburgh potholes (Richard joke) overall it was a very comfortable experience. Passed my road test Aug 21st and started work Aug 27th. Plenty of work out there READ and re-read the CDL book start calling out EVERY caution sign when you drive and you'll pass with flying colors.. Everyone got as individualized attention as humanly possible and learning pottery on the wheel was way more intricate than anyone could have guessed. The best part was the way in which Judi walked us through centering and coning in order to keep our pieces still spinning together! Colors were picked towards the end and we were all able to add stamps or indentations as well. There was (still might be) discounts for 2 hour lessons with big groups at a set rate so check it out if you and a group want to make something! I have been driving for decades but stopped 3 years ago when I suffered a heart attack at my job. Forced to retire from working altogether, I was so overwhelmed by my medical circumstances and the fear of another heart attack, I stopped driving. This was not good for my confidence and independence, but I was too consumed with worry about my health to think about driving. A few months ago I decided that I had to start driving again for my own confidence and independence, as well as to give my husband a break from driving. I decided to call Iqbal Number 1 Driving School and I am so glad I did! Iqbal is a calming influence and a great confidence builder. He knows how to work with severely anxious people and truly is a soothing presence. He has helped me tremendously and I am grateful to him for getting me back behind the wheel again.
