When thinking about cupcakes, you can trace back to its origin as American Cookery (the U.S.) that had a recipe of a cake to be baked in small cups. So, it is no doubt that when you mention about cupcakes, you automatically think about American cupcakes that have become a trend especially in many cities of the U.S. such as New York and Washington D.C. Besides in the US. cupcakes have gained some popularity in different countries despite its ups and downs. In Spain, it is not common to find American style cupcakes. Many of them that are referred to cupcakes in Spain are more like muffins. Some cupcakes here are really dry and have strange frosting. But this place is quite good! Really! Its cakes including cupcakes are moist, tasty and have yummy frosting. The frosting is like what I had in the US. - buttery and not too sweet.
The interior of the shop is bright and cozy. It is not sophistically decorated, rather it's simple and cute. There are not many tables but with enough space to relax and chill. There are also some shelfs that sell products related to cupcakes like tools and decoration papers.
This shop makes both normal cakes that you can order it by piece and cupcakes. My favorite one is red velvet. It's very moist and tasty. Its carrot cake is very good too. I just love them both! They also have a very good selection of tea. The tea is served in a nice teapot with a cup that come as a set. My favorite one is white tea with mango and papaya. However, my friend did mention that their chai tea is not very good (too light flavor).
Service was friendly but a bit slow. Price was affordable. Highly recommended! read more
