We knew our father wished to be cremated, and Alex helped fill in all the gaps for our family. She was attentive and provided us space at the same time. We had an intimidate memorial / viewing for our father at the Rancho Mirage location for immediate family. The location was private, quiet, and well presented. Our father was well presented and looked handsome and at rest. In the days after the viewing, my father was cremated, and Rose Mortuaries accommodated our family's needs to have the ashes divided amongst my brothers and me. We each had a say in the process and were able to honor our father in our own unique way. All paperwork and certification were presented in clearly marked envelopes and folders. The Casillas' are the definition of "family business". They care, communicate well and will try their best to make your family's service sincerely unique and meaningful. I used to fear death and mourned for a very long time. This family taught me to respect the death process and to treat a persons soul as if it's present even though their earthly body had expired.... If you've seen the movie My Girl... this funeral home is kinda like that. It's NOT a giant corporation with a script of greed. They treat each case uniquely as the individual. That's rare these days! This is the one business of its type that I know that bothers to learn the first names of the decedents relatives. If you're an emotional person or accepting a death is difficult for you, I recommend this funeral home.
