The young lady that works there is the rudest most disrespectful young lady I have ever experienced in my life she's miserable. She's a snot. I waited 15 minutes for a cause. I took my suit pants to get hem told them my length they charged me 9 dollars a pair for 3 pairs when I got them back they were too long they wanted another 27 dollars to fix won't go there no more we ask if they had a tape measure they said no when I went back they had one they know what they're doing but they won't get my business anymore. read more

Ruined brand new draperies. We brought 4 draperies panels to American cleaners to have the taken up. We asked for them to be uniformly taken up 6 inches. What we got back was nothing short of amateur hour. Each panel was altered to a different length and some were not even from one side to the other. Customer beware, I will not be using them in the future for anything. Just a quick update, after confronting the business about the job they did we were informed that because the drapes were a little older(less than a year) they had depreciated in value and they were unwilling to offer a full replacement value citing the parallel to a new car being driven off the lot. read more

We asked American Cleaners to dry clean a custom-made comforter. Debbie Darnell, the manager of their Aberdeen location, recommended laundering the item since it had some organic puppy stains. She assured us that they do this all the time, that it would be laundered in cold water and hung to air dry. Our comforter is ruined. It has shrunk by several inches causing it to not lay flat on the bed at the edges and it looks like it has been through multiple wash cycles. We have a photo where you can see this clearly. American Cleaners has accepted no responsibility. They did refund the amount we paid for the cleaning but gave us a letter stating that this was a problem of the fabric manufacturer. We are recommending to our friends that they no longer utilize American Cleaners for their dry cleaning or laundry needs. read more

I tried American Cleaners out for the first time back in August. It was defiantly a mistake. I took a brand new suit jacket there to have the sleeves shortened and two pairs of trousers to be hemmed. I picked the pants up two days later and it wasn't until I got home that I realized they still were too long. After about three weeks they called to say the jacket was ready to be picked up. When I arrived the jacket had not been completed and the length of each sleeve was noticeably different. Fast forward almost a month later and I received a call saying my jacket was ready to be picked up. When I examined the jacket it was dirty and the seamstress work was terrible. I had them clean the jacket and I picked it up two days later. I am so disappointed in the quality of their services. Unfortunately, I am going to have to take my business somewhere else and have the work they did redone. read more

Just a note that this business is closed daily for lunch between 11:30 and 1:30 - why bother if I have to adjust my schedule to fit theirs.

The laundry mat itself is an ok place as laundry mats go, the customer service stinks. The staff is extremely rude, not just to adults, but to children, and not about things like staying off the machines or running around, because mine don't do these things, but about having to give change and the bathroom key, which never has paper towels. I will never go back, because being rude to me is one thing, but my child is a whole different thing. When I confronted to the lady about it she got irate and argued, then talked trash to her co-worker about the situation. I work in the customer service industry and this is one of the poorest examples I've come across. read more
