When I got home, I knew to be on the safe side to get it checked out. So, I went to this new place. They were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They took me back as soon as I finished signing in. My pain made my blood pressure go through the roof. They got me calmed down and sent me to imaging. They x-rayed my right hand, hip and knee. Thank God, no breaks-only contusions. Then I went back to my room and waited for a pretty short time. They told me, rest, ice and Motrin. I stayed home today and did just that. I already feel much better and I will return to work tomorrow. If I ever have another emergency, I will come back here. PS:whomever clicked that this was funny-it was not.

The doctor was professional and thorough with the physical exam. The facility is clean. I was able to get in and out of there in about 1.5 hours total. Remember to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time for them to update your medical record. The only problem I had with them was getting a copy of my chest x-ray report. They were able to get me a copy of the report in 2 weeks, but it was very blurry and difficult to read. My school rejected the report and required me to submit a clearer version. I had to contact the clinic multiple times, and it took almost an entire month to finally receive a new report. It was fortunate for me that I didn't need the report right away to clear a hold on my school account for class registration. So the moral of the story is if you need test results/reports ASAP, this might not be the best clinic.

While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

They insist on being a PCP and if anything arises that needs a specialist - they use in-house specialist that they consult by phone and review the patient chart, blood work, x-rays, CT scans, MRI, etc...and advises the PCP how to treat. Only willing to send to their in-house list of Specialist. Loved one went to see them with one concern - and has developed multiple issues because things were missed. Had the same issue - Dr. Tromans spoke over myself, my sibling and my mother...not allowing us to understand or question her treatment. She told my mother her chart indicated heart disease, diabetic and kidney failure...which NONE of these applies to my mother. Ask if she had the correct chart pulled up...and was over ran by her with "yes". Unbelievable. Sad part, our seniors deserve the best care and not be taken advantage of.
