I would give a zero if it was possible this is the worst cab company in Birmingham I have been down…read morehere for 13 years you have to wait for more than an hour or two hours sometimes 4 hours for a taxi cab when they tell you they're right down the street or they're calling you you're looking for you in a parking lot they're lying I wish this company would go out of business if it was left up to me I'd put them out of business their vehicle smell like marijuana and alcohol their drivers are drunk half the time or doped up I have not found maybe one or two of their drivers that were half decent I think the company should fire everybody and go bankrupt and for the price they charge you it's ridiculous not happy and neither as my family will never ever use this company and anyone else who uses this company would be stupid

I called for a cab to pick me up from the Central bus station downtown Birmingham after work Friday…read moreevening. It took over 30 minutes for a cab to show up. When I was told that it would take 5 to 20 minutes. I was also told the the driver would contact me upon arrival. The driver NEVER CONTACTED ME. AND REPORTED BY TO THEIR HEAD QUARTERS THAT THEY'D ALREADY PICK ME UP. I was tired and very cold standing out there waiting on a cab that actually drove past me. Then lied saying that I'd been picked up. I had to call back two more times to order another cab before I actually got one.

If I knew Yellow Cab had a Yelp page a couple of months ago I would have wrote the review then. My…read moreincident occurred during Slice Fest. Birmingham is a smaller city so this was the only MAJOR event going on that day. My boyfriend and I were so hot and decided to call it a night and call a cab. We asked to be picked up at Moe's BBQ, there is only one location in the downtown area and the operator had no clue where we were talking about. You should probably learn the area before becoming a dispatcher. So on the day of a MAJOR event in Birmingham I find it extremely unacceptable they had no cab to pick us up. Also, we left way before the event was even over so it's not like a ton of the attendees were looking for cabs simultaneously. As a result we walked two miles home risking our safety because of this incompetent company. If zero stars were an option, they deserve that.
