This hotel is a four star, good accommodations, and for tourists there is the advantage of changing money within the hotel (which gives you the peace of mind of not getting fake money). Also, a block away there is a tour bus (hop on and off service) that takes you around all the major sites. Stepping out the door of the hotel, you can see one of my favorite things, the obelisco which is the site of the first Argentine flag was raised. The hotel is located on the widest avenue of the world, and walking distance from theaters, and tons of cafe bars and restaurants. The only downside is when there are protest, since they concentrated surrounding the obelisk.

The door open to Alberto's Lobby Bar. The bar is open and inviting - offering up edge seating and center couches lending itself to be a great place to wait if your room is not ready, for hanging out or waiting for departure after checkout. The Concierge and Main Lobby desks are easily accessible for questions, check-in, luggage storage, etc. All of the staff that I interacted with at both of these desks were efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. I noticed that during the middle of the day, there would be an infused water stand in the lobby near the Main Lobby desk. I really enjoyed being able to have a refreshing lemon water upon my return from the very, very warm outdoors. There is some additional seating around the lobby along with a grab-n-go place named Croutons and the entrance to El Faro, the location of included or unincluded breakfast, also offering lunch buffet and dinner for a fee. The hotel also has a small gift shop, an outdoor pool, fitness center, executing lounge, business center and meeting rooms. I saw that they also offer EV parking. I didn't have the opportunity to use any of the amenities during my stay so I can't really speak to their level of sufficiency or convenience. I can only say that everything looked to be well-managed and cared for. I stayed in rooms with 2-Queen beds; they are very spacious, comfortable and reasonably quiet. The rooms include a long couch, a table with 2 chairs, a divider to separate the sleeping area from the entrance-bathroom-closet-storage area, a coffee-tea bar and a small refrigerator. The bathrooms are also very spacious, offering a shower separate from a full-size soaking tub and quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand-soap and lotion. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying again if I ever returned to the area.

I appreciate the location as there are so many restaurants, convenient stores, wine, shops, etc., close by. you can easily walk to the river and under a minute and it's about twenty minutes to thirty minutes to walk to the famous markets. The room itself was very spacious. I love that there's a shower and a tub that are separate. The closet area is separated and there's a fridge in the cabinet. Also a huge couch if you have people over. The room did have a slight b.o. smell that never went away. My colleague said they noticed the same in their room. It is hot this time of year, so maybe that's to be expected? The main bar restaurant area was closed, for I believe a private Christmas party, but they moved it to the side, so guests could still eat and drink. I had the margarita pizza and tiramisu. Both were good. The staff there are so nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

Everything about this hotel is clean and beautiful. We told them in advance that it was our honeymoon and they provided us with some special treats in response! I loved our spacious room, the highlight of it being the jet tub with two head rests! So romantic. The location is extremely close to a lot of destinations. We easily walked to Recoleta, Palermo, San Telmo...we did have to cab to La Boca and the Port area but the cab fares are cheap. It was no problem. We also felt safe the entire time as the hotel is in a nice part of town and also has a locked door that can only be opened by staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The rooms are a bit small but we managed well with our luggage after we removed a couple of chairs. We had a nice little terrace that overlooks the garden and pool. The staff were some of the nicest people I have ever encountered in the hotel industry. They were also super knowlegable when it came to good suggestions on where to eat, get drinks, etc. Coming from Brooklyn, the location of the hotel was perfect as it is within all the cool up and coming restaurants/shops of the city but close enough to the touristy site seeing things. The rooms were chic and neat, and the outdoor pool/patio was also great. In fact, I'm the one in the yellow shirt in the pic someone posted. Not surprising as I made it a point to hang out there every evening for a pre-dinner cocktail. Speaking of, the bartenders make really great drinks. Be sure to get the negroni. Honestly, the concierge front desk and other members at Home Hotel are what made the stay amazing. They are lovely and wonderful to chat with and super helpful! We had booked the two-story Suite for our stay. It turned out to be cheaper for three people to book than two separate rooms, and we really liked the idea of having extra hangout spaces outside and a kitchen. With the weather and mosquitoes, hanging outside was out of the question (not Home's fault). With the rain unfortunately came some leaks from our ceiling right at the end of the hideaway couch bed. Home Hotel staff offered my brother a separate suite since it leaked onto the bed. I did also notice the upstairs holds moisture all day even with the sliding door in the bathroom open while showering, I would recommend a fan in the bathroom or upstairs to remove moisture. Some other great aspects at Home were the delicious breakfasts and lattes each morning - I really looked forward to this! And the massages were amazing!! Honestly, I would come to hang out during the day but maybe double-check the room. I really want to give them at least 4 stars but the room is where I want to feel most comfortable during my stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was well appointed and also had a bidet. The service staff and concierge were phenomenal. They were able to accommodate us for a dinner and tango package for much less than what the cruise line was offering. The area around the hotel is well lit at night with lots of small shops and nice dining restaurants within walking distance. We felt very safe walking in this area and if I were to ever return to Buenos Aires, I would stay here again.
