My favorite line of his goes something like, "I want you to make my job easier". The better I can take care of my teeth, the easier and quicker he can get his job done. Dental arts was extremely close five minutes from my house. They put me with a dentist named Sarang Choi, D.M.D. I had such a bad experience! When the dentist checked my teeth she said "oh you have your front two teeth bonded." I never had my teeth bonded and then she did a couple of x-rays and she told me I had a cavity between my front tooth and a second tooth. What an odd spot! She said a lot of odd things and I felt very uncomfortable. I felt like I wanted to get up and walk out, but I didn't. They did not clean my teeth. It was just a check and it was free, which was a good thing cause I wouldn't have want to have paid for what they did. I went back to my regular dentist and they took a full set of x-rays and guess what no cavities.! I honestly don't know what's wrong with this dentist and I would not recommend anybody going to her. I don't think she really knows what she's doing.

Seemingly they have a certain clientele they wish to work with. One was due to "high bp" on a bp machine that wasn't fitting, my husband is very muscular and the cuff wasn't fitting properly (went immediatly to the doctor to confirm and no problem) we called to explain and they want a full cardiologist work up , for a filling. One was due to addressing dental anxiety in chair and the dentist simply wasn't able to understand that and canceled the appointment while I was in the chair with zero explaination except he had "a bad feeling." When we asked for the money back for the initial visit that didn't have services rendered (they charge before appointment) they didn't credit it. When we went to the second appointment and asked again for the credit (substantial amount of money) suddenly the tone shifted and he was very rude. We lost 2 work days because this guy thinks because he has weighted blankets he's an "anxiety professional". Horrible bedside manner when it actually matters. Does anyone have a dentist that ACTUALLY understands anxiety.

There's a small parking lot in the back, but usually enough spaces for everyone as long as you arrive near your appointment time. He's been my family dentist for about 20 years. He's honest, smart and does a great job. Dr. Chapman has helped us through fillings, crowns and basic exams. I trust him. I've experienced and left other dentists that just seem to want money and don't seem to care about patients. Dr. Chapman is nothing like that, which is why we've been coming here for 20 years. Appointment times are flexible with a variety of slots available, depending on the day of the week (evening hours, lunch). Visit times for basic cleanings and exams varies. My family members usually seem to be in and out in 30 minutes. For me, for some reason, I'm often here for an hour... Just waiting. I do wish it could be a more streamlined experience. Otherwise, I'm really happy here.

There have been a few hygienists through the years (one in particular was very talkative) but they have all been friendly and informative. I had one issue in the past with my appointment not being scheduled after 6 months and therefore was charged extra for a regular cleaning, but while annoying, I didn't fight it. Parking is a bit of a tight squeeze behind the small building but it's always been fine because they don't seem to overbook.
