Not only was the full scope of work we agreed upon not even completed, the quality of the workmanship that was done was extremely poor to say the least. Not even 2 days after the repair was made (the next rainfall) was the roof found to be still leaking. Repair was not even effective. He took $4k of my money and now will not return my phone calls, texts, voicemails, or emails. I simply have asked for him to make the roof not leak. I didn't ask for any money returned, even though it all should be returned. I have spent that last 3 months attempting to get a hold of him. He has disconnected one of the two phone numbers I had and will no longer respond to any emails, voicemails, or texts I leave for him. The address of this "business" on google shows a false address, any additional business phone numbers you search for are always disconnected or not accepting phone calls, its all just a very con artist way to do business. Unfortunately, my next steps are legal action. However, do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company or Joe Stanley.

ProRoofs was prompt at communication and came out to measure and survey. They got back to me the following day, were reasonably priced and could start as soon as it stopped raining. Install day was super fast, job completed in about 3 hours. All communication was via text and email, paid electronically. I wasn't able to take off of work but I easily managed everything via phone and security cameras. I never even met Henry or his team face to face but everything went smoothly. I was talking to my neighbor who'd just had his roof replaced and he recommended that I call his contractor, he was happy with the work they'd just done on his roof and had known the project manager for years. I called Stuart with ProRoofs Restoration he was out that day to take a look. He gave it to me straight, I have Allstate and they are hard to get to cover anything but he thought the damage was enough to warrant the new roof. I called and set up an appointment for the insurance adjuster to come out. Stuart was sure to be on site while he was here to show him all the problems he'd found. Thanks to his efforts, Allstate agreed to cover the roof, gutter, and drywall replacement. We worked together to put together a contract we could agree upon. I did not want to include my back patio because it needs to be replaced, not just replace the roof. We did add another section of gutters to help alleviate some of the issues with water drainage on my garage roof and added and solar attic vent. Stuart helped me get the information I needed for the HOA approval which I sent by email and was approved in just 2 days! ProRoofs was able to start the project within a few days. They took 2 days to remove and install the new roof. The workers were very nice and professional, they did a terrific job. Stuart and his gutter contractor came out a couple of days later to measure for the gutters, while there, he noticed a gas smell. He called me while I was out of town to let me know. I suspected it was my gas lamp out front that had been blown out by winds and rain from the previous night, he helped turn it off for me. Also, they noticed the insurance company didn't give me enough credit to replace all the gutters. I tried to reach out to the insurance company and they were slow to reply and it was as if they didn't even read what I'd said. Stuart called and talked to them personally and I got approved for all of my gutters being replaced. The insurance company did not include the downspouts but thanks to Stuart, they were now covered. The final part of my project included drywall repair and paint for water damage in my garage. We waited until there had been a couple of good rains before moving forward to ensure the new roof was good, which it was. The painters came out, replaced, repaired, and repainted the drywall. Stuart was not satisfied with the job performed so he asked them to make some corrections which they did. It looks way better than before. Doing an insurance claim repair isn't always easy, but ProRoofs did everything in their power to ensure everything was done quickly and correctly. I couldn't thank them enough, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend the ProRoofs team. They were always there to answer my concerns and questions, the project management side of this was superb! They went beyond my expectations.

It's been 3 weeks and I've yet to receive a response other than Amber blocking me on Facebook. I have the contract (with one year warranty) though my week long job in March was into into June and still not completed.) This led me to cancel 2 upcoming jobs I had accepted their bids on, undoubtedly winning no favor with them. I also have supporting documentation showing they were paid in full in April, a measure of my good faith in their promises. "Hi Amber, It's Sue Matthews. I've been trying for over a week to reach you to finish my flooring. You may remember we started in April and your contractors disappeared. I was held up for weeks because you were in Lake Jackson. Someone finally came back out but the work was never completed. There were numerous requests and promises to get it finished by June 9th when my daughter arrived for the summer, Jeff finally came to my home ON the 9th. By then it was too late to finish the job, I had told you I really, really needed to be done by 3 that day, Jeff never even came until 2:50. At that point, he marked the areas I had sent you photos of, with blue tape and noted the stairs were never even glued down. I said I'd have to wait until fall now. I didn't want my 20 yr old daughter dealing with workers in and out of the house, showing (or not showing) up as promised or deciding if the job was satisfactorally finished. While I was in need of a few…read moreexperienced trades, what I wasn't looking for was a repeat of last flood's (tax-day) fiasco with yet another contractor. Sooooooo, after some lengthy discussions with the hubbs on self-contracting, and some seriously heavy searching and waiting out the influx of fly by the night wannabe's - I took a gamble on Residence Doctor. I had read many positive reviews on a few other sites and was confident in moving forward. Ultimately, we hired them to do a few things in my home that we couldn't manage to do ourselves, or just plain didn't quite figure out the best way to approach with all else that was going on and having to manage. My initial dealings were with Tammy (sweet as can be and very professional) who got all scheduled and set up for Greg to come out and bid what we needed done. Greg showed up, was straight up, and although I had to all but "hunt him down" for the estimate (to his credit - we were still somewhat in the thick of the flood recovery), it came back fair, reasonable, and very detailed. We opted to do the most important things and forgo some of the others that ultimately we could complete. The impression and communication made the difference for me, so I felt confident that my decision wouldn't backfire..... From the minor framing work (really old termite damage - preexisting) to the major tile job (laundry, powder/mudroom, & master bath), they (George included!) stayed on top of our job from beginning to end. Daily visits to the job site, regular telephone calls with updates/communication and feedback. Polar opposite of my previous experiences with that other contractor I hired! Not only that - they did what they could to reassure me that I could trust them AND the guys they had working for them, even referring me to other trades that we needed! Ultimately, The Residence Doctor provided us with a very stellar end result that I couldn't have been more pleased with! While they weren't the cheapest, they were by far the best of what I've had to chose from these days and will definitely hire them again - God-forbid I need them for anything major (or minor!)... I'm happy to say that as long as George & Greg and the staff at Residence Doctor continue to provide the service they gave to my family - I will absolutely rehire them - no questions asked!!

They didn't ask for any money until the job was ready to get started. Tony and his framing crew did a great job. No one can tell that the room was added on 14 years after the house was built. It's a seamless transition between the two. The room is well built and should stand up to the toughest hurricanes. The cost of the project seemed very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do. I would definitely recommend them for your next home improvement project.
