I've never had a worse experience with a doctor's office. First of all, I can never get an appointment with my actual primary care doctor I've been seen by several different doctors, and not once by my assigned PCP. Every time I go in, I explain that I don't feel well, and instead of real follow up, they keep sending me for the same exact blood work I already had done. Why run the same tests twice when you already have the results? That's not just a waste of my time, it's careless and unprofessional. On top of that, when I specifically asked to check my vitamin levels, they didn't even submit it the first time. I had to go back for a second round of bloodwork just because they didn't order everything correctly. That should have been done the first time. Eventually, I did get results back which came back abnormal. But when I ran out of my prescription and tried to refill, it turned into another circus. I was told the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, but when I called my pharmacy, they said nothing was sent. I had to call the office back multiple times. To make it worse, the receptionist often picks up the phone and immediately hangs up, which is unbelievably unprofessional. Only after calling 20+ times did I finally get through. Why should I, as a patient, have to chase down doctors and staff just to get basic care and prescriptions? This office makes patients do the work for them, instead of providing professional, consistent medical care. Completely unacceptable. read more

Check in is done with the kiosk. Checked in at 335 by 420 I was walking out. This particular location doesn't do appointments, just go to the location. Last patient is taken in at 830pm. From previous experience this location does not have equipment for viewing the inside of your eye or if there's issues with your cornea, so if you do have minor issues with your eyes visit your optometrist first then come here if your optometrist indicates it. I accidentally scratched my eye a few years back and that's how I did it. I've been here for animal bites, eyeball scratch nothing really serious. read more

I brought my daughter in to this location at 10am due to excessive vomiting and a cough. We waited for over 3hrs to be seen. After her vials were checked, we were placed in a room to wait for the doctor and we waited another 45mins. Afraid that my daughter would continue vomiting, I limited her intake of water and complained to the front desk employee name Robert, that we've been waiting for a very long time, my daughter is weak, and how much longer? He said the wait was caused by "physicals" that were being conducted by the two physicians they only had. I wasn't aware that physicals were handled at urgent care locations and would've taken my daughter elsewhere since her symptoms were more serious. After the doctor arrived, Michelle, she explained that they were having a serious emergency which held her up. I shared with her what Robert told me and she brushed it off by saying they were also a clinic therefore they had non emergency visits too. Michelle spent less than 10mins with us. She told me she would prescribe an anti-vomiting medication and since her cough had only been a few days to give it time for it to go away with plenty of fluids. She said my daughter had something viral and that's pretty much how to care for it. After leaving, I received a phone call from the office were Robert, the front desk employee, said that Michelle would like to prescribe my daughter Tamiflu (medication for the flu) and if I wanted to return back tomorrow to test my daughter for COVID or the flu. Out of frustration, I explained to Robert how backwards that seemed to me. Why would a doctor prescribe medication without a positive diagnosis and why would I return back to this location for tests that should've been provided while we were there for 3hrs! I eventually went to my pharmacy to pick up my daughter's medication and was told there wasn't an anti-vomiting prescription placed for her only the Tamiflu. Btw the side effects for Tamiflu are nausea and vomiting, even more of a reason to need an anti-vomiting medication. I had to call the urgent care and let them know that there wasn't a prescription for her vomiting and they claimed that the pharmacy "rejected" it but they would place it "again", it seemed to work after I called which leads me to believe that it wasn't the pharmacy's issue but the clinics. I will never return to this location and don't recommend it to others. They offer a free shirt if you give them a 5 star on their yelp review, I can see why they are desperate. read more

Called in ahead of time, I called around 1pm and the lady who I spoke to told me to come in at 4pm. I come in at 4pm and the lady at the front desk tells me that they're not taking anymore patients. Why would you tell me to come in at 4 when you're not taking anymore patients? That makes no sense. So anyway, I tell them that THEY told me to come in at that time when I could've gone earlier. After the lady talked to someone, they eventually took me in. I waited about 2 hours and I was the last patient. The NP (although she seemed nice) didn't really help at all, all she did was give me an ER referral. I could've just gone to the ER myself and saved myself 2 hours. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place closes at 9. We took my son for a cat bite on his leg and got there at 7:55- checked in and then was told by the front desk that they needed to check with the provider to see if they would be able to see my son - the lady in the front didn't even know how to explain herself when I asked why. So we waited...15 min passed and again I asked her if my son would be able to be seen since, she said the provider was seeing patients and was busy. During this time another patient walked in at 825 and was denied service because they take their last patient at 830, even though she had called ahead of time and was told she would be able to be seen Finally after 30 min the lady says because they have reached capacity they would not be able to see my son - since a report to public health was needed First off- I'm a nurse and have made countless reports to public health- during after hours all you need to to do is leave a message. They also have different timeframes to report depending on what is being reported. I'm 100% sure a cate bite did not need to be reported immediately First it was due to capacity- then she said it was because they needed to report to public health and I needed to come back tomorrow. We got there an hour before closing- I have worked in urgent care before and know that they should have been able to render services to my son. The fact that they are lazy and don't want to leave past 9pm is not my problem. The lady in the front was too busy talking about the days she was going to have off and her son's birthday party We wasted almost an hour there and had to rush to another urgent care. For reference the new urgent care we went to closed at 9. we got there exactly at 9 and they happily took us in and NO REPORTING WAS NEEDED. read more

It's a very busy urgent care center but my visit ended very pleasant because I was assisted by a phlebotomist named Jessica Rivas. She was very professional and had a great attitude. Honestly I have been to so many ame urgent cares because they are my primary and most nurse assistants are a bit rude. But this experience with the phlebotomist was quite pleasant. She made me feel comfortable and was very descriptive with the whole procedure. She made me feel like she was there to help me and make sure I was okay since I was getting my blood drawn. Horrible! Solv (the website I found AME on) is not to be trusted if they endorse/promote this business. During a pandemic, they have a waiting room full of sick patients waiting hours to be seen. I scheduled an appointment and paid for rapid covid testing (15 minute results) and guess what.... over 12 hours later still no results! The business doesn't answer emails or phone calls either! $75 to get my results in 15 minutes and again, it's the next day and I still have no results! I completely missed out on the event that I needed the results to attend. This place is unorganized and unprofessional. I imagine that the entire operation is a scam. I have frequent this place quite alot, for my kids when they have colds or running a fever ect or myself for the same reasons.... and to be honest, I think it just depends ... I've came here when it's full, I've came when it's empty, I've been here early to be one of the 1st and late at night even on weekends, sometimes they take a whileee for the doctor to see you in the room and sometimes they come quick the most I've waited is about 2hr in the waiting area the mooost.... so i think it just depends, it really dose... but even with all my visits, staff have been nice, the places looks and smells clean, and doctors are good. FYI i never see the same doctor when i come back for a visit again it's always different. My reg kids doctors on Brookshire, can take hours for a walk in and my doctor dose no walk ins... sooo it beats going to the ER at least for me and my family. read more

I've been with them for 1 1/2 years now, and if i had a choice of AME or Kaiser, I'd stay with AME. The doctors here really care about your health and your well being. This is the worst place to come to. The wait is long sometimes 3-4 hours. Having an appointment doesn't help, you're still going to wait for a while, you address your concern & they do minimal as possible. I have not once seen a Dr they are all PA's. There is only one that I like my kids being seen by, I think her name is Reese (i think she's only there twice a week) I can be wrong but every time you go you are seen by a different person, I don't think I've seen the same person twice since I've been going there. Once I went after 4pm but at that time it's urgent care & because they were my primary doctor my child couldn't be seen, only patients that didn't go there. So I ended up going to the hospital. Receptionist for the most part are rude. I've never said anything because I wanted to give them another chance but today I called to ask for a referral they had said we're going to give my daughter but it wasn't there. We had to go see somebody about 3 times before I was able to get a referral I called & nothing. I'm telling the receptionist what the problem is and rudely interrupts me. I know that they submit the referrals to the insurance, i understand what the process is. Being rude is uncalled for. If you've never been here & this is your primary doctor, do yourself a favor don't waste your time & go somewhere else.
