I was really looking forward to movie night, but this AMC location was a letdown. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable -- worn out and hard to sit in for a whole movie. The popcorn tasted stale and honestly smelled like it hadn't been fresh or cleaned around in a while. I want a REFUND. Absolutely DO NOT come here!!! The seats are terrible. The minute my fiancé and I sat down, we had to brace ourselves from sliding off of our seats. I've never sat in a movie chair or any chair this slippery in my life. You literally have to force the chairs to recline backwards by pushing down on your heels and completely straightening your legs, or you will slide down to the ground. We had to BATTLE to stay upright for 4 hours of the Lord of The Rings 2026 showing. Not even 15 minutes into the movie, we were contemplating going home. I've never had to squirm so much to prevent my bottom from going numb. 1 hour after seeing the movie, my bottom is STILL NUMB and tingly. Other viewers were also having to SIT FORWARD to take a break from the chair resistance. Sitting in football stadium bleachers are more comfortable than this. Also, the screen in Theater 1 had a super dark line at the bottom that affected a foot or 2 of the actual movie filming. Not cool. read more

Overall - dingy, dirty, with uncomfortable seating. Usher Staff looks like they would rather be anywhere else. TOO MANY DAMNED COMMERCIALS With the previews! over 30 minutes of Coca Cola adds? Really? yes really. No 3 D glasses were handed out? We had to leave our seats and ask for them? AMC - pushing the loyalty program way too hard. And really? "up to four movies per week"? I attended a showing in theater 1 on July 15, 2025 and the screen had heavy vignetting with a bright center. The picture quality was awful! Overall, the picture was dim which made dark scenes difficult to see. Plus, not that it made much difference, but the bottom 8 inches or so had a super dark line, not black, you could still see the picture, but super dark. This projector is in desperate need of maintenance and maybe some color calibration. I can get a better experience at home. Theaters like this are why the industry is dying. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Staff were rude, this location was very dirty and there were cockroaches, the lights didn't turn off once the movie started. Wasn't aware this theater didn't have reclining seats, that part isn't on the theater but just wasn't expecting the older theater seats. In the parking lot when I arrived to the theater there was a dirty diaper ran over by a car in the parking spot next to me, my partner and I both noticed and got grossed out. Next thing, when we were walking in we noticed two giant roaches and I immediately just knew I wasn't comfortable, the girl at the register was so rude and had a really ugly attitude. I understand she's just there for a check and could care less about the job but I just wanted a popcorn and I didn't need a big one but wasn't aware the small ones were kids meals and just had to keep asking why I couldn't have a small one until she finally explained it after the like 3rd time. I then felt embarrassed for even asking and just felt brushed over. I went back up to the counter for an icee and she was definitely mad I walked back after already checking out. I'm not sure when AMC got security but the security guard on duty today was also very rude and I honestly wasn't aware of where I was going and he said "do you know where you're going or do you need to be escorted out." I was just genuinely looking to see what side my theater was on so I knew what direction I was heading towards. Then I walk into my movie and it was still a mess and the lights were on so I thought the crew was still cleaning, but no, the crew didn't even bother to clean it, now I understand why there were cockroaches. I could go on and on about this horrible experience, I came to this location because it was closer to my partner's house but will definitely stick to the Clearfork location. Poor management, poor service, poor upkeep, and I worked for the movie theaters back in 2018, I know this is not what is taught. read more

Nice average theater with all the typical amenities. For people with back issues, I wouldn't recommend this theater because of its outdated chairs. They don't come with the usual foot rests , and they're on the narrow side. If that isn't an issue, go for it. read more

There's nothing special about this movie theater. It's just like any other theater charging outrageous prices for candy, popcorn, and sodas. But! Free refills when you buy larges AND you get to put the butter on yourself! Which I love, because they never seem to add enough for me. The seats are comfy and sort of recline when you push back, so the seats aren't stiff at all. The theater itself was pretty clean, and I saw no trash on the floor on any of the aisles. I wouldn't necessarily go out of your way to patron this theater, but if you live in the area, it's nice and convenient to have. read more

I haven't visited this movie theater in quite a while, took the family to see wonky. Practically had the whole theater to ourselves. I ordered our tickets online so we walked into get our popcorn and drinks. Caution like everything else sticker shock is alive and well at the movies too! Nonetheless our popcorn was hot and fresh. Excellent choice of self serve drinks as well. The places we walked through were thoroughly clean and organized. So far very easy to check in-we bought mobile tickets, senior, we used to coupon with the ease, came in and had an issue with two drink vouchers that they rectified immediately, picked up the popcorn we had ordered on mobile, and right now we're the first ones in the theater waiting for the previews! read more

Coming from Weatherford, I have already had to leave a crappy review of the Film Alley (Schulman) theater there. I chose right by going to Lake Worth AMC. The seats were a little weird, and kids behind kept kicking the back of it, but the only realistic concern I have is the water-stained ceiling tiles. I couldn't help think "lawsuit waiting to happen." AMC's sound quality WAS MUCH BETTER than Film Alley, and that is all that really matters. It is pointless to go pay for a movie, endure a high decibel roar (and ringing ears the entire next day), and then figure out where to watch the film again in order to understand what is being said. Great location, close to restaurants and everything in lake worth. Concession guy was super nice and helpful. Ticket taker was an older gentleman and he was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of toilet paper and paper towel. Theatre was good, got the seats we wanted But... Seats were horrible, no cushion ... felt like I was sitting on a coil!! Husband said his seat was the same way. We sat in F8 and F9. Please please replace the seats and upgrade with reclining seats, the rocker seats are just annoying. Never again! It's not worth the $2 you save on tickets to ever come here. There was popcorn all over the floor in the lobby, the halls, and in the theater itself. The trash cans were all overflowing onto the floor, so there was nowhere to throw things away. We had reserved seats, but thank goodness our movie wasn't busy because the chairs we selected were BROKEN. When you sat in them, they just dump you out in the floor. As it turns out, ours weren't the only ones, several other people were complaining and switching seats. Our movies was a darker movie, and the wall likes were on so bright that there was a glare on the screen during the entire movie. When we finally left, we didn't see one employee, not one. Not in the hall, bathroom, lobby, or concession area. There was nobody cleaning, it was like they all just left. So, do yourself a favor and just drive to Fort Worth, I know I will. read more

Out of the last 4 times we have been to attempt to see a movie, only once did we get through it without the power going out/issues with the seating/issues with concessions. Literally tried to watch the Mario movie today, power went out came back on and then everything crashed again. When told to get in line to process refunds, other customers were able to pull other theatre associates to do their refund without waiting in line and ended up causing mass confusion and a lot of angry customers. I FEEL EXTEMELY SCARED in this Theater! THEY DO NOT ALLOW licensed CHL holders to carry and protect us. There is no security and I won't return. Not only that, 1 Dos XX was 10.50. Popcorn and a drink was 14. Very expensive and I did not like it here. THE SEATS ARE HORRIBLE! They try to recline, but put you in a very awkward position and it feels like your sitting on metal underneath the flat cushion. This is a decent theater, and a good, inexpensive place to see flicks. It's no-frills, as it's not truly a dine-in theater, but there is a bar. Yup, we had some brews. You can grab a drink, snacks, etc and take it into the theater with you. The seats are nice and comfy, and we had no problem seeing the screen. We were in a smaller theater. Since "IT" has been out for so long, the price was reduced even though we saw the film at night. We only paid $4.59 each. All ticket prices here are less than at other theaters. $6.59 appears to be the regular price and that's a bargain these days! I'll take it. Also Tuesdays are $5 days through December 19th (I think the $5 deal is though Dec 19th, but check with the theater to be sure). This was our first time here and the name on the outside of the building reads, "Starplex Cinemas." The name was changed from that to "AMC Classic. Our bartender was chatty and cool. We didn't get any snacks, so we didn't interact with anyone else. The theater we were in was also clean. However, the bathrooms needed attention. They need to hire extra staff to keep the restrooms clean at all times. Businesses have no excuse for dirty restrooms. I know that some customers can be "filthy beasts" with no "home training," but it's an unfortunate issue that business must clean up after. I will be back to see more movies. I am a Movie-holic! read more

This is the FILTHIEST movies i have ever been to. I do not know how anybody eats here as I imagine the food and garbage all over the floors must bring in rats and roaches. The bathrooms look like a nasty truck stop and i can tell cleaning or checking on them is not done during the day. This AMC needs some work, and definitely needs to be updated. The seats are so close together you touch arms with the people next to you, which is very weird. The seat I had was broken and very uncomfortable. So I moved to another empty seat away from my friend. And that seat was broken as well. I spent the whole time trying to hold myself up because the seat leaned as though it was about to collapse. I wanted to leave but my friend was enjoying the movie. I ended up standing for the the last twenty minutes. At the end of the movie someone asked me why I was standing, I explained, and they said they also felt uncomfortable in their seat during the movie. Pretty great for the price! We love this place because it's more affordable than the cinemark we usually go to in Alliance. They chairs aren't exactly the best, but then again i've been spoiled with powered recliners at other theaters haha. Overall this theater is clean and worth the money. read more
