However, if you're like my husband and I and prefer a less crowded theater then I'd suggest paying the extra $1.50 per ticket and go earlier in the day if you're going to see a more popular movie. Cullman has a large population of teenagers who hang out at this theater and the neighboring WalMart and sometimes it's nice to avoid the teenage crowds. If you're taking your kids for a day out check into the specials they have in the summer for kids. We took advantage of the $17.50 popcorn bucket which you can refill anytime for just $3.50. We have thoroughly gotten our money's worth from it. After your movie go across the parking lot to 32 degrees, a frozen yogurt bar. Right now they have discounts when you show them your movie ticket.

I went to AMC Valley Bend to see Minions & Monsters and Toy Story 5 on Wed., July 8. The employees were all very nice and professional! I expressed a desire to see both movies and they were both in theatres next to each other and the timing of the ending of the first movie to the beginning of the second movie was close! I purchased tickets to both movies as well as a beverage and pretzels. I enjoyed the first movie, which started at 1:00 pm and went next door to see Toy Story 5 next. The previews were being shown when Hannah, a young lady who provided great info at the ticket counter, found me and asked if I had purchased a large popcorn. I said "no" and thanked her because she was going to offer to get me a popcorn refill to save me time so I wouldn't miss the beginning of Toy Story 5! That was very kind of her, esp. since I have an injured left leg and the theatre Toy Story 5 was being shown in was at the far end of the building! After the movie, I spoke with Tyler, another great employee, to see if Hannah was available, but she wasn't. I wanted to give her a big hug and thank her for her kindness! She really made my day! Like Ashley S. noted, the theater seats do not recline; however, that's not a deal breaker for me. The movie's sound and video quality were great! The theater (#17) was not overly crowded and not under lighted. They have a concession stand with a lot of options in the main entrance. The restrooms are clean and they had a few video games just off the main entrance. We went to a 1:00 showing and the place was packed out with families and yutes who were likely seeing Minecraft. The staff were all courteous and friendly and parking is ample. Why no 5th star? Unlike the movie theater in Madison, Cineplanet, there were no staff cleaning up/picking up the trash in the theater after the movie and the grounds around the entrance were kind of nasty with carry out food containers full of gross looking food laying around the shrubs along with other trash which was pretty yucky.

Into the Woods was amazing. But the performances aren't always the best but it's community theater and I love that everyone gets a chance. On that note, however, a lot (if not all) of theater is extremely political in the Shoals (I took off another star for this). I'm not a great actor myself, but I've seen auditions that were amazing, sure winners, but then they cast someone who, quite frankly sucks, and happens to be the son of someone else who sucks who is a member on the board. But, they also play movies and stuff which is cool.

Naturally while in the movie, the ad they play every time tells you can get points for the movie and to approach a worker after the fact. Since I forgot, I did that. I was rudely told it was too late and that I couldn't. I contacted support in the app and they even have an article saying that you can and that you can ask a person at the theater or contact support. Either this worker was ignorant of this fact or was simply being rude as it appeared to be the case.

"""WOW"""" is the only thing that came to mind when I walked in the door after being invited to the soft opening this weekend. These guys pulled off an amazing transformation of the building and made it a family friendly environment. My family had an absolute blast. The only attraction right now is the 4 player Omni-Arena, but they said the rest of the attractions should start arriving this week. We will be back soon and often. Highly recommend checking it out.
