The snack bar is well staffed by local teenagers and stocked with all the movie theater goodies. We often bring a takeout dinner and have a picnic while we wait in line to get in (get there early for a good spot!), then get dessert of popcorn and candy. The drive from Salina is about 40 minutes, and even though it's a two lane highway we always feel like we're just part of the late night parade of people coming home from the drive-in. We love that this is a part of our summer, and we're so grateful for some GenX nostalgia in the middle of Kansas!

The old chandeliers and blue clock all are beautiful. We saw a movie just last weekend. And we see performances during the season. When there is a crowd, the nook for the snack bar gets really crowded, as do the restrooms so you need to plan ahead (get snacks and use restrooms before the movie ).
