Definitely time for an upgrade! I'm not sure how all of the theater are but we were in a small theater, and we could hear everything that was going on in the theater next to us, which made things a little bit awkward. I strongly advise against visiting this theater due to extremely poor customer service. The staff consists mostly of untrained teenagers, some of whom were carelessly sweeping near toddlers' feet and spraying cleaning chemicals around food while customers were still waiting at the counter for their orders. One young woman, notably styled as if she'd just come from a salon with hair pins throughout her hair to hold her hair in place, was especially inattentive. To make matters worse, I contacted AMC customer service via Facebook(the only available communication channel)to report several issues, including a power outage. I provided all relevant information, including numbers on movie viewing ticket and food, but was told that every number I submitted was invalid. Very ironic no accountability. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I do not recommend attending this theater. read more

I would only come here earlier in the day if possible but this theater is still hanging on. I guess things are better with the increased police presence but there are a good number of young folk who congregate here on the weekends. I go to amc all the time. But usually the one in Decatur. I came to this one while I was in town because it closer to my lil sister. I just left chillis had a few drinks and was ready to catch a movie. My lil sister came in with her drink still in her hand he told us to throw it away I asked him did he have a trash can he said yes it's around the corner tho. So as we went in we threw drink away I actually had a burger wrapped up in foil from chillis also so I'm getting up from theatre to throw it away and get me and my lil sisters a icee. As I'm getting up to head out not even paying attention or even really caring these folks done followed us in the movies and sat behind us. Just weird asl. So they saying something about the folks said something about the drink im like we threw that away I was actually headed out to get a icee then she said something about the burger cause I had it in my hand as I was heading out. I told her yea idgaf bout the burger I was actually otw to throw it away and get an icee. She just kept saying the same thing over and over again and I'm telling her like what's going on idk at this point it's harassment like I heard you you got security right here and everything bout a drink. So this location has had a lot of issues with break ins , fights and shootings. I would personally only come during the day which we did. You can purchase your own tickets at the kiosk in the front and walk in. The prices are quite high for popcorn candy etc. it was clean staff friendly. The popcorn was good the icy was good they have a few flavors. Sooo we were leaving to come outside there were a lot of cops outside some type of altercation but it was under control. Yikes. On January 19, 2025, I went to this theater to see WolfMan. I was excited to see it and looking forward to the movie. I'm a Premier Member and pay the extra to be a member to skip waiting in the regular lines. I was first in the Premier line and both cashiers continued calling people from the regular line. I was simply waiting to buy a ticket, not refreshments. Both ladies did this for so long that I missed the start of the movie, got frustrated and left. This is another reason why it's so hard to support neighborhood businesses when you're not treated correctly. I hope leadership sees this complaint and trains their staff appropriately. read more

Old, stinks, and the workers need better customer service training. I brought my daughter to see Snow White arrived 15 min early no line. Ending missing the first 20 mins because nobody ever called my order and if they did they didn't say it very loud as I was sitting there the entire time and they let my food sit on the counter could. I had to ask if it was mine. Assuming IF they called it out they only did one time and said f* it. This is my neighborhood theater. I haven't been to it in a few months but decided I wanted to go to the movies on a Saturday afternoon. Why did I do that? I ordered my tickets on Fandango but once I pulled up in the parking lot I regretted it. It looked like busloads of tweens were dropped off. Oh my God. The concession line was short but I was a little aggravated because they can't just hand you a hotdog. You have to pay for it then wait for it at the end of another counter. Makes no sense. Why isn't a simple plain hotdog not ready to give to a customer. I won't even talk about the prices. This location has ropes up for lines I guess but there were moving very quickly. The theater I was in appeared clean. Watching the movie was kool. No mishaps. After it was all over folks just threw trash on the floor for no reason. Folks just don't throw their trash in the can. I feel for the place. Security was everywhere. Why do we need security at a theater? I guess they know better than the rest of us. Its a bit busy but I would rather go when its low key. read more

Was here yesterday seeing under water. It was about $15 to get in and $30 for our food. We go a number 6 which was chicken strips and a drink. We also got another order of just chicken strips and fries. It total that was $30. In my opinion the food was not worth it at all. The seats here are older. I know when I come here I will not fall asleep in the movie because of the seats lol. They were not mentioned for someone to get extra comfortable. One think I do like about this AMC though is if you become a stubs member you pay $20 a month and get to see 3 movies a week. I think that is worth the money. read more

I really don't care for this theater at all. They guests are typically loud and disrespectful. There always someone brings their crying baby to the movies ruining the experience for others. They do not have reclining seating, like most up-to-date theaters. Also it's not a very handicap friendly location. Warning: If you have any mobility issues due to injury or disability, do nothing go here. The only available handicap parking is way at the end of the building no where near the entrance, which is extremely unacceptable when the regular parking spots are right across from the entrance. I'm not likely to return to this location, if I even bother going to a movie theater at all. I've found streaming new releases to be less problematic. read more

One of the things that frustrated me the most about this theater is that it doesn't accept the tap to pay. If I had known I would've been better prepared. Also, you cannot purchase tickets with cash. Customer service wasn't that great. Granted the theater isn't that large, at the very least the person that grabs your ticket should let you know where your movie will be shown. I attempted to cancel my reservation online and for some reason it won't recognize the email address and/or the confirmation number. The Movie was Good. The Theater, Refreshment Area and Bathroom was Clean and looked Good.

The theater viewing room is reminiscent of the traditional seats of the pre-fancy movie rooms of today, but hey, I paid a retro price of $5.75 which was totally worth not having my chair vibrate to the tune of Yanni's greatest hits. Wow! Spent $65.00 for the movies to see Venom and snacks. For what they have to offer for food the prices are ridiculous. Condiments are prepackage for the hot dogs which they only have ketchup and mustard, no onions or relish. The hot dog took 20 mins to get because they only make as requested. They seemed short staffed because you had to buy your movie ticket from the concession stands. We picked our seat but upon getting into the theatre someone was in our seats and we had to asked them to get up, they had no staff member to make sure people were in there right seats or to make sure people are not on they cell phones talking like they are at home. The seats were not comfortable and the floor was wet and sticky. For the most part we enjoyed the movie but I would probably not come back here again. read more

I took my baby here to see the new Cars movie. I never knew that this location was an AMC, because the outside still says "Movies ATL". The theatre has a lot of parking. The best deals are found online right on the AMC website. The matinee was under $8 with the tax and service fee. I was also emailed a coupon for a small popcorn and small frozen icee for $5, with my e ticket. This was a Great deal to me. Me and my boyfriend took advantage of it and my toddler loved the popcorn. The appearance of the concession stand needed a little work. The cup lids were low and the candy needed to be restocked. But today is a rainy Saturday, and they're a lot of people here. The customer service was good. I noticed a little arcade for the kids to use. Overall it was a good experience. It's close to home and less than Atlantic Station and Cobb. The staff at this theatre is professional, kind and accommodating. My son and I went to the movies at this location yesterday at the last minute. We typically go to one a little further out but this one was closer to our home and was playing the movie we wanted to watch. Everyone greeted us when we arrived with a smile and the theatre was clean. What I really appreciated is that I was asked how we enjoyed our movie when we were leaving. This theater may not have all of the amenities of some of the newer and bigger AMC theaters but the customer service will have me and my family return. read more

The entire experience at the AMC at Camp Creek was absolutely unacceptable. I went with a friend on Nov 12 to see Wakanda Forever showing. We ordered tickets online to save time. However, when we got there the only way to be let into the theater was to get in line with customers who had to purchase tickets. We tried to enter with our digital tickets like most movie theaters by going directly in the theater to get our digital ticket scanned but was told we had to go stand in the ticketing line to be allowed in. Not to mention the security guard was pretty rude. I asked to speak with manager and he told me the manager was around here somewhere. There was only one agent working the ticketing line and of course the line was long due to the opening weekend of Wakanda Forever. A less than one minute check in process at any other theater took about 10-15 mins when it was already 7pm and our movie a long with many other ppl in line were missing. Once we got in, we ran to the restroom. It was absolutely filthy. No tissue, trash cans overfilled with tissue, dirty diapers and other trash. I decided just to go locate our seats and see if the movie had started yet or if it was still on the previews. We happen to sit down right as the movie began to start. Not to mention, our assigned seat we chose happened to be taken by a guest who was very rude. To avoid altercation, I just sat in a different seat and prayed for the best and not sitting in someone else's seat. Once I was settled, I wanted to go get popcorn and drinks for my friend and me. That also was a disaster. I stood in line again for about an hour. I ordered my snacks and happened to have a $3 amc digital gift card and the girl told me It was declined bc it didn't cover the cost. Before she even scanned it, I told her it was a $3 card. But after scanning it, she said I couldn't use it because it didn't cover the full cost of my order instead of her just deducting the $3 from the card and adjusting my balance. I didn't feel like arguing so I just paid with my CC in full. When I finally ordered, they were out of popcorn and I was told it would be a little wait for the popcorn. After another 15 mins of waiting for popcorn to be popped, no one served the people like myself that had been waiting for popcorn but instead serving ppl who were placing orders right then. A guest made a comment to the employees that it was unfair for us to still be waiting so they finally decided to serve all those waiting for popcorn that had already paid and placed an order. Once all was said and done, I didn't get back to my seat until almost 8:30 missing a whole hour of the movie due to poor management/customer service. I am requesting a refund of my ticket prices and food cost because that entire experience was unacceptable and unfair to me and my party as well as most the other guests there. What sound have been a fun movie premiere weekend for a highly anticipated movie, turned out to be unenjoyable and a headache. I honestly will never step foot in that AMC location again and highly suggest new management be implemented at that location because it is an embarrassment to your brand. read more

Oh boy, what do I even say. Never before, in my entire existence, have I been this throughly disappointed with a movie theatre experience. Straight out the gate, I, a legal adult, was ID'd at the front and told I was too young to watch movies past curfew. This curfew being 6pm on a Saturday night. What? So after talking to the guy a bit, he allowed us to enter and watch a movie. Fast forward through that lovely half hour of trailers standard for AMC, we noticed that the top 15% of the screen was being covered by a curtain. So I told an employee and about five minutes later, the entire screen, mid movie mind you, turned green and started cutting out in the most epileptic inducing manner. Then, he adjusted the projector, moved it higher, made it significantly worse, and just called it a day. Again I returned, like the protagonist in a superhero movie, to get the projector corrected for the second time. This time, instead of simply raising the curtain, the employee decided it would be better if he adjusted the projector to a position where the bottom 20% of the image was completely off the screen. Entirely baffled, I accepted defeat and watched the rest of my only top 80% of the movie. read more

I've stayed on this side of town for years but I have never been to this AMC. Partly because I'm aware of how Magic Johnson used to be years ago and knowing people would swarm here when Magic closed. Point confirmed. The concession area was a mess. Icee/drink spills had the floor sticky and/or slippery nearly everywhere. Food prices are astronomical as expected. We stood in line for 25 mins so they probably could have used another cashier or 2. The seats weren't comfortable honestly and offered little recline. You would think that paying for specific seats wouldn't cause problem. Wrong. 23 minutes into the movie, people come in late arguing loudly over seat assignments. This lasted for a good 12 minutes. Fucking hooray. Only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because of the employees. They were consistently nice and helpful. read more

Went here yesterday(4-12-15), w/ my bf and his son, and I will say that the smell I read about in other reviews, was NON-EXISTENT...and I have a very keen sense of smell! The theater was clean,and the bathrooms were well kept. As far as the theater goes, IMO it is nice...but everyone's opinion is different! Now as far as some of the patrons, that's another story, but that doesn't deter me from coming back and giving this theater bad reviews! Now I must say that it was a guy behind me on his cell while the previews were showing, but got off it when the movie started...but that has nothing to do w/the theater...that's the person who decided to be rude! Okay this movie theater is funky. Aisle after aisle.....every row had some kind of food mess in it. I saw one seat that needed an obvious deep clean. Even the concession area needed a deep clean. Nobody wants to step in popcorn, sticky substance laced floors. I have never been inside a movie theater in a nasty state until now. Ugh..... it smells bad in here too. I am honestly beyond saddened to give this theater the lowest rating Yelp has, but if there was a 1/4 star, I would go there. First of all, I came at 6:00 PM in a Monday and there were about 5 others walking up to the door with me. Absolutely no crowd. After the couple ahead of me stood at the window for ten minutes where NO employee was behind the glass, I volunteered to go find someone. I walked straight into the building (no security and no attendant) up to the concession stand where one lonely stood without so much as a Hello. I politely said, "there are a group of us outside who would like to purchase tickets." She replied, "Tell them to come to the concession stand and they can buy tickets from me." My thought was "Huh? How do patrons know to bypass the ticket area and come to the concession stand...and furthermore, what's to stop people from just going straight into a movie???" Where is a sign that redirects or better yet A MANAGER WALKING AROUND APPEARING CONCERNED??? Since I was about 20 minutes early when I first arrived, I was now annoyed that I was only 10 minutes early and the poor teen had to handle anyone who wanted a ticket AND food. I asked to see the manager and she said she would get them as soon as she finished the line...which defeated my purpose of getting her help. I decided to get popcorn and a drink since it would be a 2.25 hour movie. Suddenly another teenager appeared and began to pop the popcorn. Although I was thankful for the fresh batch, I was again annoyed that I was going to have to wait again. I stepped aside and looked back and whoa, now the line in the concession area AND outside was longer, but still no ticket attendant or person securing the door. I walked over the get my soda from the dispenser and that is when I got almost permanently stuck to the floor. It was so sticky and filthy that I was truly tempted to get a refund and leave. It is almost needless to tell you that the theater, although empty had not been cleaned from the previous movie. Right before the trailers began, the same concession teen who served me came in and swept and collected trash. And almost to the second, when she left the trailers started...late. The sheer apathetic ambience of this poorly maintained theater is disheartening. I never give a bad review with addressing it with the establishment and it is my goal to really have a candid convo with AMC corporate since finding a local manager was impossible. The first good thing about this movie theater is the prices. The next good thing would have to be you are right across the street from a shopping plaza so you have a tone of things to do and eat once you are finished with your movie. If you frequent the movies quite a bit you know that even at Matinee time you are dishing out a good $10, well not so here you will expect to pay $7.50! I thought I was back in the year 2000 when a family could afford to take their kids to see a movie and actually purchase popcorn as well. There my friend is where the good review stops! While we were waiting for the movie to start mind you it was a rated "R" movie, I see a woman walking down the aisle with a 6 month old baby! It was kind of like when you are on an airplane and you spot a kid coming and you start saying a silent pray, "please Lord do not let her sit near or by me".
