A great annual festival in Bad Aibling. It was busy and there was a lot of options for food as many…read moreof the local restaurants had stands set up and there was plenty of drink options as well. The festival has a main beer garden with a stage where all sorts of entertainment is ongoing and the surrounding streets are also part of the festival with all the cafes and al fresco dining areas. Bands were also situated in a few parts of the city center and people were spread out over the whole area. It was busy but not over crowded. The only drawback was the line up for the toilets which was very long. A nice festival that I would come to again. It's a small town festival as opposed to the big tent like events and nice to experience something different. We were invited here by friends who live in town and would gladly come again if invited :-)

A great local cinema (4 theaters), all top and at current technical level (Dolby digital, 7.1.,…read moredigital film etc.). And yes, they show the usual movies but as well run a second place that is more "art house" and ready to show special films. Something I give them max. Kudos for is that they delisted Coca Cola products, after Coca Cola switched to disposable bottles in Germany in stead of reusable ones. Prices are fair, seats are great and you can get your tickets incl. selecting your seats online. Why not five star? Well the concession stand needs salty popcorn:-)
