I saw a wonderful Mozart concert here with strings and a visiting French Horn player who was fantastic. It's not a huge room and it's nicely intimate inside; the interior is clad with white marble and is gorgeous. I went in March and was able to get a ticket on the same day but I think in summer it must sell out. They have a coat check and a bar that you can visit before the concert and during intermission. Don't come too hungry though, because I only saw MozartKugel on sale for snacks the night that I attended a concert. Check on their website a couple days in advance if you can. It's really worth seeing a concert here plus you get to visit the famous Angel Staircase and Marble Hall, which are must sees if you're visiting Salzburg.

Ascent the Angel staircase and you will see the Hall, likely red velvet roped off so you cannot enter. Do check it is open as it closes around 4.00pm I think. Info on the website. A concert would be terrific if you have the time.

I experienced two shows there, one in the main big club(The Unguided show)and one in the smaller club(Free & Easy festival) which is right next to it. Both venues have pretty good acoustic and overall sound felt nice! Had a good time there!

This place has multiple bars/clubs/music venues. On a weekend, one can easily go there and hop around the area for different types of music (electronic, reggae, hip hop...you name it, they will most likely have it). If you get the munchies after a long night out, no worries, there is a food stand conveniently situated there to satisfy your cravings. But I am giving 4 stars for its rock music venue (Halle). I like the size of the venue, not too big but wide enough to move around the crowd. The acoustics of the place was decent when I went (it was an indie rock concert). Prices for beers are average-priced, but they sell the local Munich craft beer (Crew Republic), which gets bonus points from me. Whether it's a concert or a dance party, it's worth the trek to go to Backstage. (Ok, it's not too much of a trek as it's still within Munich city perimeters...but I'm lazy to travel more than 20 minutes to go out.)

While in Salzburg, we opted to go to the Mozart Dinner Concert and I'm glad we did…read more The venue itself was beautiful and the restaurant decor downstairs was filled with intricate details that give this establishment its charm. What you need to know: *The show and dinner is a total of 3 hours. *The show starts off with music and during each mini break, you are served your starter, dinner and dessert. *Arrive on time because the show will start whether you are there or not. *The food was just okay. I wasn't keen on the vegetarian option because it consisted of all carbs. Keep in mind that you are mainly paying for the entertainment and not the food, so don't expect it to be Michelin quality. *Alcohol isn't included in the dinner package. You will pay separately at the end of the show. * For the most part, people dressed up for this dinner concert. Although, I did see some people dressed rather casual. To be on the safe side, I would dress on the nicer side. If you are visiting Salzburg, this dinner concert is a great way to end your trip.

I wanted to book VIP, but not knowing exactly what the difference would be in food selection...I chose the lesser option. So we missed out on the desert (Salzburg Nockerln) but had another option which was delicious. We had booked our event for a Thursday, but due to travel delays..we called 2 hours prior,..and we were easily able to move our event one day later. GREAT Support and service. We arrived at 1800 as suggested, and sat down for dinner. We were given a choice of seating,..which was nice. We were given the right amount of attention by our waiter throughout the night. The concert seating was great. There were only 7 rows, so it didn't matter if we sat in the 1-6 or 7 and up (when selecting the ticket..the focus is put here). We actually ended up sitting in row 5..and right in the middle...so it was terrific. The performances were terrific.. and with a 15 minute intermission...lasted about 90 minutes.

Love this place!!…read more First off - Make a reservation ... this place gets busy. Rightfully so! Menu changes daily .. but I can say with confidence that everything we had was amazing. I had the tomato salad starter - the tomatoes were so sweet and the dressing was mind blowing! For my main course, I had the seasonal vegetables that came with a small schnitzel...That whole combination was a big burst of flavors.. so incredibly delicious. To end we shared a peach cobbler with gelato .. wow... it was sooooo good!! Perfect last night dinner in town. Would I go back? YES!!! For sure!

I counted about 45 guests that they had to turn away due to lack of a reservation. Good for them to desire to maintain excellent service for those who intentionally make this restaurant a destination. The pan fried gnocchi was excellent, blending innovation with vibrant sauces and beautiful presentation. Very balanced flavors that blended on the plate and did not interfere with other flavors. The pork neck tasted tender with a crispy exterior to create a satisfying mouth feel. Well paired with roasted and seasoned potato. The ginger mousse was unique. It is a savory finish that may not appeal to some. I expected a stronger ginger flavor. I definitely want to return
