The initial cost estimate was very close to the final amount charged, even though there was actually more work to be done than I had described. Deborah was great in helping me arrange the visit and payment and Kevin and Everton showed up on time and got the job done quickly and inobstrusively. The final cost was much less than what I had seen for comparable service from other firms. If I never need anything removed again in the future, I'm calling this firm first. I recommend them wholeheartedly without reservation.

Debra, at the Rid-of-It office , organized the job perfectly and sent 2 very strong and pleasant people to do the dirty task. Will and Gio did an excellent job! James responded to my post and he was very efficient, professional, and easy to work with! We didn't meet in-person, but he called me while I was at work and we agreed to a price via text. Soo easy! He also took pics of the site, to make sure what I wanted to toss/keep, and pics after the fact. And what a relief! For the past 2-3 weeks, it's been soo stressful to be greeted by garbage that should've been removed by someone else. I'm soo glad to see it go and completely satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend James and his crew to anyone! Price was also very reasonable. Another trash removal place was charging 4Xs the price. I didn't hafta post-pone a family bbq in order to remove heavy drywall, wood beams, & other long awkward items and I am very happy about this. :)

This is a toughy -…read more I was under the impression that it was going to be way less expensive. I was quoted twice what I thought (based on conversations prior to the in person estimate). The drivers missed my window and that caused a huge setback for me - and lots of stress. I had left the site and had to return, which they accommodated. When they arrived they were very nice and professional however I was super disappointed by the overcharging tactic or what felt like bait and switch. I absolutely refused to pay their exorbitant fees and negotiated - I got what I wanted but was so disappointed by it. I mean, if you wait until the day of your move you will be overcharged so I suggest you get the estimate in advance I think the business model is great and well executed - just wish it was more honest so people can know what to expect up front The guys did a good job and didn't cause any damage or waste time. It was quick and painless (but I also had all the furniture lined up for them in one room).

At this point you have no choice but to continue. In end, this cost me $678.00 which is ludicrous, especially for items that can clearly be donated. On site visit for an estimate is inappropriate as I am sure this happens to everyone.....you find out the final price after it is on the truck....not cool. You should be able to get an online quote so you don't feel pressured to make an instant decision. I will be telling every person I possibly can, not to use this company.
