We hired Ambience Event Services to DJ for our wedding. From the beginning it was clear that Mark handled his business in a professional and devoted manner. It was clear that he had lots of experience with weddings and not only from the DJ perspective. When we met with Mark about the details of the event he methodically worked through what we wanted, as well as potential planning conflicts we may have in our schedule (maybe we should take sunset photos and then cut cake, etc). Since he has worked many aspects of the wedding experience (planning, DJ, etc) he was able to point out potential weak spots in our timeline and offer advice on how best to achieve the experience we wanted.
For the event, we had a very specific entrance for the wedding party, entrance for bride/groom, and finale for (secretly choreographed) first dance. Our timing was pretty precise, down to the second, for all of the aforementioned and Mark got it PERFECT. It was really important to my wife and I, and it was reassuring when he showed up having clearly practiced for what we wanted. The same goes for the ceremony, as my wife's processional song was a secret to everyone there, even me.
Mark is also a master of handling a crowd. He politely and respectfully nudged people into the right place, whether it be inattentive groomsmen about to make the wedding party entrance or getting folks efficiently through the catering line. He can even handle slightly intoxicated family member/friends looking to make rogue song requests. He does everything in his power to ensure that your big day is exactly what YOU want.
